India Cement Ltd, owners of Chennai Super Kings has introduced its first Twenty20 interschool cricket tournament titled 'Junior Super Kings'.
A two-week tournament will begin on September 5th and shall witness participation of over 32 Chennai-based schools. The tournament is supported by TNCA and is based on the popular format of T20 cricket.
India Cements has been supporting sports for over 3 decades. The objective behind organizing Junior Super kings is to provide a platform for the young talent to showcase & improve their skills. The tournament will witness the participation of 32 teams, playing 31 matches at two different venues over duration of 17 days. Leading players of Chennai Super Kings will mentor the four teams qualifying for semi finals.
