"Ladies Day" At Lord’s – 7th June Versus Essex CCC
On the 7th June 2008, historic cricket ground ‘Lord’s’ will become ‘Ladies’ for the day, as Middlesex CCC opens its gates for a unique event, which brings together the excitement of first class cricket with all the essentials of a socialites calendar event in the beautiful surroundings of Lord’s.
Middlesex CCC welcomes and invites ladies into Lord’s to join us and a host of celebrity guests for this memorable event, to enjoy and relax with an array of pampering activities that are guaranteed to give you a truly fabulous and memorable day out! Dress up in your finest summer dress, adorn yourself with your favourite seasonal hat and join us for a celebration of cricket at this, the first ever Ladies Day at Lord’s.
Lady guests attending the event in summer dress attire will be invited to join us and celebrities for a free champagne reception in the beautiful Harris Gardens. They can relax and be pampered at an array of leading health and beauty outlets, can dine out on fine gourmet food, enjoy champagne and Pimm’s throughout the day, and even meander through the numerous shopping outlets that will be specifically set up for the day! You could even watch some cricket if it takes your fancy!
The 7th June happens to also be Derby Day, so to cater for the racing lovers among you: we’ll even have a host of flatscreen LCD TV’s set up in the Harris Gardens to ensure that you don’t even have to miss the big race.
To celebrate our ongoing partnership in support of the great work done by Breakthrough Breast Cancer they will also be collecting donations on the day and handing out information from the Breakthrough stall!
