
Cameron Borgas starred as South Australia drew with Queensland in their Sheffield Shield encounter in Adelaide.
Borgas scored an unbeaten 164 and was also unbeaten on 32 in South Australia's second innings as they claimed two points for a first-innings lead having made 477 for five declared before bowling Queensland out for 308.
South Australia then declared on 159 for two and Queensland reached 228 for five before stumps were drawn.
Borgas' first-innings effort came from 260 balls and included 17 fours and five sixes with Michael Klinger (84), Aidan O'Brien (79) and captain Daniel Harris (57) all scoring half-centuries.
O'Brien then picked up three wickets as the Bulls were unable to match the Redbacks, Chris Hartley making 68 and Wade Townsend scoring 66. Michael Klinger then thumped an unbeaten 92 before South Australia declared, setting Queensland 361 to win and despite three wickets from Jake Haberfeld, the Bulls were able to save the match, although the two points means South Australia join Queensland at the top with eight points from three matches.
