
Victoria continued their good Sheffield Shield form by thrashing Queensland while New South Wales thumped Western Australia in the latest round of matches.
David Hussey stroked 174 as Victoria made 378 in their only innings before Queensland were bowled out for 195 and 133, missing regular opener Ryan Broad in both innings.

In the match between Western Australia and New South Wales, WA were bowled out for 131 and New South Wales took control by scoring 374 in reply, Daniel Smith and Moises Henriques making 52.
94 from Shaun Marsh kept WA fighting but five wickets for Doug Bollinger ensured that New South Wales remained favourites to win, and they duly did so by reaching 106 for two. Scorecard
Elsewhere, in the Ford Ranger Cup action over the weekend, South Australia beat Tasmania by seven wickets to take their first points of the season.
Tasmania were bowled out for 130 before Tom Cooper hit an unbeaten 78 to guide South Australia to victory. Scorecard
