
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled the schedule for the 2010 Under-19 World Cup, which will be held in New Zealand in January.
The tournament will last from 15th to 30th January and defending champions India will face Afghanistan in the opening match, while on the same day Pakistan play the West Indies and South Africa meet Ireland.
The 16 teams have been split into four groups of four, with Groups A and C based in and around Christchurch and Groups B and D playing in Napier and Palmerston North.
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the quarter-finals and the remaining teams will participate in the Plate competition.
