The Philadelphia International Cricket Festival (PICF) invites you to experience the timeless game of cricket. Celebrating our 25th Anniversary, we welcome over 200 players from 14 different nationalities to partake in this premiere Philadelphia spring event.

The PICF promotes cricket, friendship and community service through sporting contact. Thanks to the generosity of the participants and event sponsors, charitable support of local youth development programs is possible.

Members of the public are invited to join in the festivities on Sunday, May 7th starting around 1 pm for the event final being staged at the Philadelphia Cricket Club.

A celebrity guest, Devon Malcolm - former England test cricketer, will attend the 2017 Event. Previous celebrity guests to the Philadelphia International Cricket Festival have included Dennis Lillie, Michael Kasprowicz, Shaun Pollock, Jonty Rhodes, Deryck Murray, and Fred Trueman.

This great sporting occasion is hosted by five of Philadelphia's preeminent cricket clubs: the British Officers' Cricket Club, Germantown Cricket Club, Haverford College Cricket Club, Merion Cricket Club and Philadelphia Cricket Club.

Guest teams this year include: CANAM (Women's Team featuring Charlotte Edwards - Wisden Cricketer of the Year 2014), Melbourne (AUS), Royal Automobile Club (UK), Toronto (CAN), Western Province (RSA), Australian Embassy (DC), Amwell Valley (NJ), ANZACs (NC), Mad Dogs (NY), Sarasota (FL), Staten Island (NY), and West Haven (CT).

Throughout the United States, cricketing leagues have expanded significantly and now boast a strong presence in all 50 states. The extremely successful India Professional League (IPL) featuring cricketing superstars from around the world has a very large following in the United States both on TV and the Internet.

Organizing committee Chair, Tom Culp remarked that "In 2017, fans will enjoy an afternoon of top class skills and competition while non-cricketing sports enthusiasts can learn about the art of the game".
