Good record he's got, although he's 37 now.

He's a good pro and well respected Clobs - knows his own game inside out and he will bring on the youngsters.  After a poor season he could be the signing that'll bring better times .

So much for van Jaarsveld, who decided a few weeks ago that he's past it and won't now be coming back to England next summer. This was disappointing, and today the news is finally confirmed that James Taylor has signed for Notts. That one has been coming for a while, and at least it wasn't toWarks, who were the ones who unsettled him in the first place, making their financial problems really rather amusing - won't be tapping up anyone else's players for a while, eh Gilo?

I hope Titch does well and breaks into the England side soon, but in the meantime Leics now have a huge hole in the middle order, with the guys slated to bat 3 & 4 now not going to be there. Mohammed Yousef has been rumoured as the overseas pro, so that would be a start.

Not good news for embattled Leicestershire Clobs !  Maybe a good job there's no relegation from Division 2 !
