But he has been on such a roll this year. I already mentioned his outstanding stats this year. An ODI average of 54 and a Test average of 83.33. But why? What is wrong with Inzamam? He just finished a series averaging 107. His average in 2005 is 83.33 and I think that is higher than both Kallis and Ponting. Inzamam is one of the best batsman of 2005, if not the best. Do Ponting and Kallis average higher than him this year?

Loads of runs for Trescothick, but about 300 of them were against Bangladesh at home. Ponting has Scored 5... and 4 half centuries to Boot... and has 1300 runs.... How can you argue against runs scored for the year ??? Ponting has the most for Both forms of the game in 2005, and still has 2 tests to play... Kallis averages the same... yet has played a few less tests so he has less runs...

He would have been in any side 5 years earlier but Australia just didn't need him I guess.

Mike Hussey is the Best Batsman of Year 2005.

ODI - 20 Matches , Avg is 146+.

Tests - 3 Matches , Abg is 120+.

Absolutely no one is Near Hussey this year so Mike Hussey of Australia has to be awarded the best batsman  in both forms of the game in Year 2005.

P.s :Now don't tell me ,, he has only played 3 tests ,, he has proved it after 20 ODI's and kept the same in Tests means he is the BEST.

and  I am lovin it .
