Selection should be made by the selectors who watch most of the county games and talk to coaches, umpires, etc not by a captain. Hussain had a say in Irani, Grayson and Foster getting into the side. He was the best one day bowler England had until that time.&nbsp; By staying on he has kept younger players from developing so we went to the World Cup with Plunkett and Mahmood who had played about 20 games each. We should have had a settled bowling attack that had been bowling together for years. <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Today I read that he wants to get back into the ODI team and thinks he will do especially well in the 20/20 World Cup. He probably sees 36 year old Nixon in the side and thinks he should be there as well. We have two good 20/20 bowlers in Lewis and Broad. The ball going past the outside of the bat is more useful than spining in so theres a case for Yardy ahead of Dalrymple although i wouldn't agree at the moment.]]>
