I dont really think it matters where bats are made tho, as long as they are made of English willow. Yeah I saw a whole heap of them at Lilywhites near the Picadilly Circus station. Sxi I think they were? Elite Pros grade, for 53 quid each. They all had a sticker saying made in India. Many will disagree but part of choosing a bat should manafacturer preference and such. Many people have bat maker's they feel most comfortable with.

Here's a thought. If you can go to a cricket shop shut your eyes and pick the one that feels the best in your hands. That way you won't be swayed by stickers and marketing ploys. i would suggest a kookaburra kahuna, or beast (i.e. with the graphite reinforcement) but there are so many companies to choose from!

from gray nicolls i would look at the longbow

alos worth looking at newbery, gm, custom made bats etc

I have a Kookaburra Sword 5000. I didn't make use of it properly so it' not that useful for me anymore, plus its too small for me now. So wondering the best bat to buy for a number 6.batsman, who will improve over time.
Would a Gray Nicholas or a Kookaburra with thick edges be the best.
