    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.cricketworld.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=1648">naved</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 1982<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 27 June 2006 at 10:46pm<br /><br />I have a L&amp;W carbo bat.&nbsp; It is supposedly Grade 2 but the grains are absolutely straight (8 grains).&nbsp; The wood has a little know high up on the bat and that is what I guess classifies it as a grade 2.&nbsp; Nice punch, great balance, I would recommend the bat to anyone.&nbsp; As far as the Carbo handle, I like the stiffness of it.&nbsp; I does seem more powerful.&nbsp; I actually requested the Carbo handle even on the Private Bin I ahve.&nbsp; The bat is curved, but you can get it in any shape &amp; profile you want.]]>

If you get one you won't be dissapointed]]>

I am also the same age (15) and seem to be playing a similar level of cricket.&nbsp;I am uncomfortable with the idea of buying a bat without having picked it up of felt it in my hands as i have always done in the past, and also with the fact that&nbsp;L&amp;W are situated&nbsp;in NewZealand, so p&amp;p could be costly, especially if i am not happy with my purchase and have to return it.
