He is signed to a contract i'de say.</P><P>But yeh instead of getting an MRF why not get a Laver and Wood bat they're great and you know they are as close to professional quality as you can expect.</P><P>&nbsp;</P>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.cricketworld.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=1926">heinzhummer</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 1760<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 05 September 2006 at 7:55am<br /><br /><P>MRF are ordinary.</P><P>They have endorsed 3 of the greatest batsmen of all time (Waugh, Lara and Tendulkar).</P><P>This does not make them a great bat just because their parent company MRF (Madras Rubber Factory) has ALOT of money behind them to pay these high profile players to use their gear.</P><P>Also, many of the big name players using Gray Nicolls and Kookaburra are not infact using this brand or model. Many pod shavers (bat makers) are paid big money to custom make bats for these players and keep it very quiet.</P><P>I know for a fact that Trescothic and Vaughn dont use GM bats..</P><P>Best advice is to forget about the labels and stickers and go and pick the bat up for yourself!!Some places allow you to have a hit with the bat so this is a great chance to find a bat for you.</P><P>&nbsp;</P>]]>
