His excuse, his mother had lived in germany, and moved over to Australia when he was 4 or 5. So if he sucseeds in getting a German passport Hampshire will have the luxury of another overseas player next year. <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>But surely this shouldnt be allowed, he is about 95% Aussie. Hes played loads of games for Australia, and while doing so has become the bowler with most test wicets. Personally I dont think he can be classed German having merely spentthe 1st 4 years of his childhood there.
