I play for Scotland, which is the highest level. I also play club cricket for Kinross.
What level are you at?

Fair enough. Do you not want to play at a higher level? Or do you just play for the fun of it?

That's probably the best way! Scotland really must be one of the worst places to play cricket in. The national team's not at Test level yet (although they ae in the World Cup). And it always rains. And I play in the dark most matches. Apart from that its good!

Nah, not me! I have complete faith that they will be knocked out in the first round, they have Australia in their group. They can't even beat county teams like Durham (sorry if you like Durham!)

Not really but I don't like the idea of changing the rules so one can bowl the doosra by chucking it. Its silly you know .
Maybe you can master the top spinner out of the back of the hands because they are nearly similar (doosra). I notice that saqlain use to flight his toppies a lot but thats what you have to do with them because they dip in flight.
Do you have the toppy in your armoury TCA.

I bowl my off break with alot of top spin so i would say i do. But i can't get it to continue straight on, i can get it to bounce more.

Thats typical for an offy cause I use to bowl offies and I never gotten my top spinner to go straight on. It just turn and bounced a lot.

I've tried really turning the wrist around so the wrist faces square leg and i end up really throwing so i have to settle for turn and bounce.

Just thought I'd mention it while the subject was about, does ball tampering affect spin or is it just reverse swing?

You should try and make it to the World Cup then people will notice you you know. You could decive Tendulkar with your spaceship or spider or something.

Sounds like a good idea dips, baffle them with hippy spin. Don't think so, but you never know!

Oh and Tendulkar is bowled, he stands bemused at the crease with all 3 stumps snapped in two. How on earth did the bowler manage that?
Hippy spin Very funny

Is hippy spin entirely random or do you control what it does!?

It is probably something like 80 per control and 20 per random! It's just that the grip makes it so random!
