I was in a rush those where yesterday's games and I still have to sim tonights matches so im afraid today at the carribean was washed out with no matches being played delaying the next matches till tomorow this will give people sometime to change their teams and here is the super 8 table.
With each team having 3 matches left to play each it's the top 6 that are the one's who can still make it the only team who have likely to have ceiled there spot is Canada. |

Well Canada have pulled off quite an achievement there. I think it is a sad goodbye from a brilliant tournament for Ireland though.

I'm about to sim the matches; Australia (28) v Bangladesh (24) (Gros Islet) South Africa (28) v Canada (32) (Bridgetown) England (24) v Ireland (16) (Warner Park) India (24) v (16) Netherlands (St.Kitts) A reacl chance for India & England to get back for a chance to qualify while Bangladesh must win this match no matter what they lose they are most likely to be ticked off the semi's list. |

http://www.freewebs.com/vic_v/worldcupsuper8.htm http://www.freewebs.com/vic_v/index.htm Bangladesh are not going to make it mathamatically they can but they need Ireland & Netherlands to beat the better sides.Canada could be joining them unless they beat either India or England. |

John Davison has been impressive 5th highest run scorer in the world cup if you check the bottom of the page and also 2nd highest wicket-taker in the world cup behind fellow mate Austin Codrington. Each team has only 2 games to go.

Im an idiot I forgot to save the NEtherlands v South Africa game & India v Canada this is what I can remember. India v Canada Canada posted 252 all out with fifties from Billcliff & Joe Harris while in reply Sachin smashed another ton & dravid hit a unbeaten 50 to run down Canada's total within 41 overs. South Africa v Netherlands Graeme Smith hit 90 to lead South Africa to past 280 Kemp was finally out to Luuk Van Troost who trapped him lbw,Kemp's average in the world cup so far is 427. Here are the other 2 matches since only 2 are saved i wont bother sending a link.

Australia v Netherlands South Africa v Ireland England v Canada India v Bangladesh These are the last matches before the semi-finals the fixtures would be. 1st v 4th 2nd v 3rd Ireland,Bangladesh & Canada are out it pretty much all depends on Canada v England match if Canada win England are out if its the other way then Canada are gone or unless Bangladesh cause an upset against India we may have a problem which I doubt will happen. Teams still in contention Australia South Africa Canada England India Rudrap Singh & Harbhajan Singh are the 2nd equal leading wicket-takers in the world cup with 21 yet Harbhajan Singh has only played 8/11 matches and Rudrap Singh 10/11,had they played all their matches they would have been the leading wicket-takers there having a great campaign thats for sure. |
