That's right zuhair , the BCCI's agenda is India 1st , 2nd and 3rd -
everyone else nowhere. Bringing in the Bangladeshis is not for
cricketing reasons , it's purely money.

Even if they are auctioned, almost all of them will be mere spectators during IPL. Hell, they are doing it for money and just to go against ICL at whatever lengths they can

Yep , they're trying to kill off the ICL. Also correct that there isn't
a Bangladeshi player who'll play many matches , but they will play some
to make sure Bangladeshi TV audiences are high.

I can only think of Tamim and Razzak playing a few games. Bangladeshis will watch it anyways I am sure. Just as the Pakistanis watched every game of it. They did not even miss the ICL to be honest

And there goes. Ranatunga has fired the first bullet against BCCI. Sri Lankan players can be available for FCC even if they play in ICL. And after a long time we feel SLC have something similar to balls.

well i think both of u, zuhair and sledge, are a bit too harsh on the BCCI, this gesture was to protect more BAN players from joining the ICL and finishing their careers. i don't see anything wrong in that.
huge decision by SLC though, ranatunga is certainly a brave man and by lifting the bans on the ICL rebels he has virtualy triggered a war against the BCCI, the question is "are the other boards brave enough???"

Sam, try your very best not to be blind towards the BCCI schemes. Your living in a business world my friend.

My second thoughts was whether Ranatunga is virtually asking for a ransom from BCCI to get their financial crisis solved. A "bribe" of several billion rupees will keep the ban for the players at international level. I am sensing the "door in the face" technique from Ranatunga soon.
