If you and samhache are playing this sunday you could make that your quarter final fixture.
Then we'd just need 3 more matches to get this rolling.

Who was on the original list?

I've sent you a challenge. I've put it at my ground, is that OK for you. If not send me a challenge back.

I guess I'm after a neutral pitch, either hard and fast or green. Because of that I've decided to challange you at my home ground which is a green pitch. Is that okay?
Good one Graham!

Samhache V Nrlbulldogs4 = Green Pitch

Bondy V The Tyke= Green Pitch

Scuudz V Grasshopper= Green Pitch

now if we find two more ppl we can make it like the winner of each game can play in a semi final. I think that the green pitcj is good becuase i think it is a good batting pitch and a good bowling pitch..neautral.

AND WE ALL KNOW THAT IM GOING TO WIN lol (cough cough)

It's saying that i haven't received a challenge yet. Your ground is fine.

If it was at mine it would have to be dusty because of my home game on friday. Green pitch would be fine by me.
Reject my challenge and send one of your own so we can get this show on the road.

well thats just great...wat i was thinking of is that the we hav 2 semi final

Nrlbulldogs V Sam
Bondy V tyke

now the loser play 1 semi and the winners play another

so say i and bondy win it will be me and him play 1 semi and sam and tyke playing in the other so i think me and tyke know that we are going to lose so u 2 can battle it out for a place in the final

Do u want to do this

If it's a league we are doing then how about we do it like this.
Each person plays everybody twice, Once at home and once away.

Everybody is allowed to choose what style of pitch they want for their home matches but must inform the other teams of their pitch conditions.

Opponents will have no say in pitch conditions for away games.

The team top of the table at the end is the champion. If however, 2 teams end up on the same number of points then they'll play a playoff to see who is declared champion.

What do you guys think? League or Tournament?

League sounds better, makes it more thorough which is important in finding a true champion.

That's what I thought as well. We'll get the views of the others before we make the decision though.

I think, ( this is my opion) Green pitches are even for batting and bowling, so it will be fair!!!

Are we including last Sunday/Monday's games in as the start of the league? If we are then a few people will have a game in hand.

So, the fixtures for this week are:

Nrlbulldogs4 vs. The Tyke

Grasshopper vs. Bondy

Samhache vs. Scuudz

If I've missed anyone off then please let me know.

I think that for added realism the home team should choose their type of pitch. After all, not all pitches in the world are green. Plus it's more of a challenge but the person has to tell their opponent what type of pitch they're playing on.
If this not acceptable however then I'll have to change my pitch.

Do you think that we should open this up to get a few more players in our league?

Can I ask why we are playing on a dusty pitch?

If I'd known before I may have altered the order of my bowling attack. You should really state what pitch conditions you're having to at least give the away team more time to think on it.

But not to worry, this should be a pretty good game. Don't know whether it will be close but it will be good.
