Vaughan hasn't got a bad record against them, especially after his 197 and 195 a few years back.

few batsman have a habit to play good against a particular country, look for that sake, sehwag has the best average against pakistan, Afridi has almost all his hundreds against India, Laxman always play best against ausies, specially in this series, Salman butt and Shoab Malik have played exceptionally well against India.

The way best batsmen against ausies would be an englishman, similarly pakistanis would be better against ins\dians and vice versa, best scorrers would be , Jawed Miandad, Saeed Anwer and Inzimam for sure!

Definitely it would be Sanath Jayasuriya. The indians are really relieved when they get him out and that was the main reason they won 6-1 against SL and Jayasuriya only scored 87 runs for the series

I know there are many players who have played well against india, but isn't this topic sort of like insulting india? They are a good team and good players play well against any team in the world, even australia.

Why are you being so touchy.... lets show some sportsman spirit.

My friends, on a serious note, being an Indian you may be a better judge, tell me, in your opinion, which batsman has hurt India the most in tests and in ODI's

On a positive note, you may consider this as a praise for India, b/c most of the times we get comparisons of somebody's perfromance against Australia

Its his question. If you want why don't you go make a thread for best batsman against Pakistan, England, India, Australia, etc.

Anyway, Younis Khan is my pick. He is outstanding against India. He averages 100+ against India I think.

okie ,, sometimes it was Anwar[only in sharjah] ,,, and recently Younis khan

but Nothing like the thrashing given by DHONI & SHEWAG to pakistan.

Coz it was humiliation given by these blokes ,,,esp the Mauling received by Dhoni ,, you could see the faces in the pakistani crowd ,,, helpless... clueless ,,,, shell shocked and stunned in final ODI.. Thats what I call Mauling to the limit.

We've already gotten over it Krisdy! After all, we've only been humiliating India mercilessly in cricket for a mere 55 years. This was merely a blip!

You are forgetting Younis Khan! He averages more than 100 against India. That's phenominal. He has made some massive innings against India...267, 199, 195...

Im pretty sure you guys don't have anything to say about Saad's comment cuz if you do have something to say.. just keep it on the low.. i don't think any one of u can argue about the *FACT*..

Even if you all Indians haven't had enough in those 55 years.. lemme add something to your humiliation.. India couldn't even chase a target of 110 in U-19 World Cup Final (you can cry in ur lil corner about it cuz we don't wanna see any of u whinning about it over here.. oh by the way.. thats called humiliation loll)

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6338779956457954299& amp; amp;q=cricket+-+anwar+ali

Have fun watching the whole Indian U-19 World Cup Final Inning (damnn.. they embarassed u guys REAL BADD.. loll what else can you expect from them lolll)

So it has been decided that the most hurting batsmen for India are

1. Younis Khan
2. Sanath Jayasuriya
3. Saeed Anwer

& there is a long long list....

I was going through records the other day and found out that most of the batsmen in the World have their best test or ODI score against India...

I was wondering why is it so... is it because of lack of quality bowling or fielding or what???
