My favourite Hatrick was Wasim Akram's, against Sri Lanka in a test match. The delivery to Vaas was a beauty.

Close second was Pathan's one in the first over. His deliveries (apart from Younis Khans) were unplayable. The one to Yousuf was one of the greatest deliveries I've seen.

And yeah, Razzaq had a hatrick against SL:

Wasim Akram's hatrick against SL was amazing. The second wicket of the hat trick was a bowled dismissal and the stump literally broke! That was just beautiful.

Murali has not international hattricks. Of current Aussies, Warne in test, McGrath in tests and Lee in ODI.

I'm surprised Lee hasn't had a hattrick in tests, he is a superb bowler especially with the new ball.
County Sim on extended break until I've got less work and more free time. When I have a specific date, I'll post it in the thread.

Lee has taken a hatrick in ODI's though. It was in the 2003 world cup against Kenya.I went to that match and it was absolutely devatating how Lee bowled, I think he even broke Kennedy Otieno's ribs or something

No he didn't. Brett Lee bowled and Kennedy Odoyo went to leave it, and it bounced and hit him in the elbow, and back onto his stumps.

Pathan didn't celebrate as much as Harbhajan Singh probably because it was in Pakistan

I don't think that was the reason why Pathan didn't celebrate it. By the way its was in the first over so that was pretty cool for the people who watched it in India. Don't you think?

I thought that hatrick sucked, Bangladesh aren't really a great team anyway..

Sami and Wasim are the only to take hatricks in ODI and Tests. My favourite ODI hatrick would have to be Waqar's three clean bowled stake against NZ.

Well, I can't say anything about the ones I haven't seen, so I'm going to say Chaminda Vaas' Hattrick during the 2003 World Cup against Bangladesh. It was brilliant to watch his bowling totally rock the Bangladesh batsman.
"His classical hits down the ground, met with a checked drive, were Tendulkar at his best. It was though he had a new lease of life." - Sachin Tendulkar's return to cricket with a 91-Ball century.

I kind of feel sorry for Anil Kumble. He deserved atleast one hattrick, he took 523 wickets in test matches.

Dont feel sorry ,he has the unique achievement of taking all 10 wickets in an innings of a test match ,that's more than a hattrick
