It was quite a game - Surrey made 438 for 5 and Glamorgan gave them the fright of their life making 429

The best I have seenis Hashan Tillekaratne's 100 off 100 balls in Sharjah aginst WI. WI scores 333, with Lara scoring 169. With score 103 for 5 Hashan leashed out an astonishing attack on West Indies fielders by the way of his running between wickets. He wouls have easily beaten Bevan, de Villiers or Jonty for that matter on that day. He was electric on the pitch. SL lost by 4 runs, but it was a memorable match, and that stated SL's up rise to the world cup in 1996

Does anyone know hom many balls it took Ali Brown to do that, because
it is mind blowing! Another good innings was Benham this year where he
scored 189. The second highest scorer was the extras.

I think it was Kapil Dev's 175. Zimbabwe was a good team that time. Better than now. the score was 44/7 and he took it too 266/9.
I.V.A Richards 189 is also a really amazingly amazing one. HH Gibbs's 175 at the Wanderers was very good. S Jayasuriya's 189 was one of the best. Inzamam's 100 two years ago against India. The ODI series before Sehwag's and Dravid 309 and 270 respectbly. ery fine knock though they lost. Overall I would say I was Kapil Dev's because if India lost that match they would have been out of the World Cup, instead that match gave us confidence and we ended up winning the World Cup. Viv Richards was equally good. Both are the best I would say. |

Simple facts that 1. They were chasing 333 (at that time a mammoth total) 2. 5 down when he came to bat 3. Sheer will and commitment by a plyer not even as close as gifted as Lara 4. What that innings did to maind set of Sri Lankan Cricketers and public Edited by Wal Bada |

The best ODI knock considering all factors....has to be Viv Richards 189! Amazing knock! Anwars 194 was enjoyable as it was against india in india! and Afridi's 37 ball hundred was brutal!

Andrew Symonds' maiden ODI century was quite an innings. He was considered lucky by many (yours truly included) to have even made our '03 WC squad let alone get a chance in the opening game against pakisatn. Coming in at 3 down for 50 odd, symonds applied himself like never before, and at first built a sold platform, and then took off with an amazing display of power hitting and turned an australian innings that was headed for a 210 max total into 310. |

If they had it would be one of the greatest vicories in ODIs. SL made 330 and fell short by 3 runs. Hashan hit the last ball to deep sqare where he was caught (there was a query about whether the fielder was touching the rope when he took the catch) |

Pakistan captaicy was stupid in the match. They did not pick Saqlain for the match. If Saqlain had played the match, we might have not seen Great Andrew Symonds today |

Maybe, maybe not. What if Saqlain didn't perform his best that match then it would have mastly been the same result. Anyway its destiny. What happened happened and could not have happened in another way.

Best ive seen is at an unofficial ODI. NZ vs FICA world XI
Against the likes of warne and murali (i cant remember any other bowlers) Fleming hit around a 40 ball century. Played murali as if he was a schoolboy bowling beachballs ![]() |

Thats shocking. My favorite bowler hit by Fleming. When I become a cricketer (
) if Fleming is still there, I'm going to nail all his three stumps to the floor. Edited by DRAVID FAN |
