OK so tomorrow's fixtures are:
Australia V England (Adelaide Oval)
South Africa V New Zealand (Manuka Oval, Canberra)
Please can all those involved name their teams as soon as possible and please could the managers of Australia and South Africa name the pitch conditions (you can choose from either Excellent, Normal, Poor or Random).
By the way after this round I will be introducing injuries and I will also be introducing rain-affected one-day internationals (reduced overs).

An absolute thriller occured in Adelaide, and on an excellent wicket there was a massive shock, with England chasing down a mammoth Australian total for victory:
However at the Manuka Oval in Canberra the South Africans failed to take advantage of an excellent pitch and lost convincingly to the Kiwis.

Points Table
After the first round of fixtures, it is time to put up the first points table, New Zealand and England take the early lead after their victories and South Africa and Australia are already having to play catch-up. The Wst Indies play their first game on Thursday.
Bradman Invitational - Points Table
P W T L NRR pts New Zealand 1 1 0 0 +2.72 4 England 1 1 0 0 +0.30 4 West Indies 0 0 0 0 0.00 0 Australia 1 0 0 1 -0.30 0 South Africa 1 0 0 1 -2.72 0 The points table works like this:
4pts - Win
2pts - Tie/No Result
0pts - Defeat
At the end of the group stage the top 4 teams will progress to the semi-finals.
If two teams cannot be seperated on points then the team which has won more games will progress to the semi-finals.
If that cannot seperate the teams then the team who has won the most games against the team they cannot be seperated with will progress.
If that cannot seperate the teams then the team with the higher net-run rate will progress.
If that cannot seperate the teams then the team with the biggest margin of victory will progress.
