He bolwed quite continuously in the 90's in the final test of the ashes especially against Pietersen. He has also hit the 100mph barrier as well

Yea, I saw in some other thread on this same site that Brett Lee's fastest ball was 161.8 kph or 160.8 kph. I'm not sure which one.

Lee's fastest was 161.8 kph, but I don't believe that it is true because MiNiWaRnEy said that it went unnoticed, which is probably because it wasn't delivered at that pace.

He has definatly broke the 100mph barrier. Also in the paper the other day Akhtar has gave Brett the title of the worlds fastest bowler

I have checked all the guiness world record books from 2000-2006 and there is no sign of Lee delivering that ball.

Yeh guys in the General Forum i wrote a post, saying that i have proof. I got the DVD put it on my computer and took an Image of the delivery and its recorded speed, in which brett lee is the bowler. He actually gotta wicket that ball, it was a tailender though, still he bowled it at 161.8 km/h, u can not complain about the reading because it is unlikely to be wrong and if it is anything Shoaib has bowled could have been recorded wrong aswell.

If Lee delivered that delivery, then why isn't it in any of the world record books? Because he didn't deliver it.

I don't know if Lee delivered the 161.8 kph delivery or not but I believe he didn't. If he had, then the world record books would say he did, but they don't.

I don't want to butt in here, because I don't know the answer any more than you guys.  I just want to draw your attention to this "rules" post from JP.

http://www.cricketworld.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=457&am p;PN=1

It's getting really difficult to read some of the posts here, and I think a little thought before posting could go a very long way.

Well, thanks for reminding us all swerveman. I use to use 'MSN language' when I was very new to this forum, but now I use proper English.

First of all, its a free forum, so I can believe what ever I want.

Second, the world record books don't say he bowled the delivery so how could I believe that he bowled it.

Even though I haven't seen the ball, I know he didn't bowl it because it's not in the world record books.

Actually, a new world record book is published every year, and if Lee's delivery was 161.8 kph, it would in the 2005 world record book, or 2006 world record book.

Ok, look, I found a delivery by Sami which was delivered at 164.0 kph. Here is the link.

You guys know how to use 'rapidshare'?

http://rapidshare.de/files/3440629/101.9mph.wmv.html

Please let me know if the link doesn't work.

If it doesn't work, go here:

http://www.pakstop.com/pmforums/showthread.php?mode=hybrid&t =10686

when you are at this website, scroll down, and you will see 'Mohammad Sami 164.0 KPH delivery!!' and under that, there will be a link. Click on the link. Scroll all the way down in the link and click on 'Free'.

No problem.

Ok, everyone else.

I have 2 links for you guys. I will not make them 'clickable' because then they don't work.

http://www.zippyvideos.com/6463752561340176/sami/

Copy/Paste this link into the Address bar. This will show you the video, but it's sort of poor quality.

The next link is here:

http://rapidshare.de/files/3440629/101.9mph.wmv.html

Copy/Paste this link into the address bar. When you are at this page, scroll down, and in the bottom right hand corner, it says 'Free,' click 'Free'. Now, on the new page scroll down, and it will say 'Wait 18 seconds' and just wait. Eventually, the wait will be over in a few seconds. Then there will be a letter/number combination exactly where it previously said 'wait 18 seconds.' Beside the letter/number combination, there will be an empty box, in the empty box, you type in the letter number combination, and click 'start download'.
