I'm glad that you all are very excited. I didn't say that the matches would start at a specific time so I don't know why you are talking about time zones and when it would start. All I said was the matches will start on Saturday.

Some of the managers haven't even named a squad yet. So I took the players that were all ready on the sim to play the match. I need PaulNixon1 and ryanwkp to name 18-man squads as soon as possible. If you don't you'll lose your job.

Most of the managers playing home haven't even named a pitch condition. Please name a pitch condition when you are playing home! Don't forget this time! Also, I have forgot to mention that managers playing at home have to name a venue. So starting from round 2, all managers playing home have to name a venue and a pitch condition.

Round 1 matches have been played

Australia v India

Australia chased down a big total posted by India with nearly 10 overs to spare as they recorded a comfortable 7 wicket win. Michael Bevan and Matthew Hayden made centuries.

Zimbabwe v Pakistan

The Zimbabwean bowlers surprised the Pakistani batsman. The bowlers restricted Pakistan to 195. Pakistan held their nerve to win a thrilling match by 2 runs.

New Zealand v West Indies

New Zealand put on an average performance as the West Indies took total advantage. In the end, they won by 7 wickets. Shiv Chanderpaul finished with 99 not out and won the man of the match award.

South Africa v Sri Lanka

All the batsman struggled to play on the poor pitch. Not many runs were scored in this match. The bowlers had a nice day.

England v Bangladesh

England beat Bangladesh comfortably. Bangladesh gave England a bit of a challenge but the poms were too good.

If no one has noticed, Canada has exited the competion because no one is interested in being the manager. MP12's interest in managing Zimbabwe means that Zimbabwe will replace Canada.

Managers of Australia, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe, Pakistan and Sri Lanka have to name a pitch condition and a venue for Round 2. Matches will be played on Wednesday. All managers have to name their starting XI for the coming matches. If you want to keep the same starting XI, just say so.

Other managers can take their job or a new manager can. Ill PM PaulNixon1 to tell him to name his squad. Ill give him a few weeks.

When naming a pitch, just say excellent, normal, or poor. I take it that you want excellent.
