Welcome folks to the cricketworld awards!

Myself & Dips will host the annual cricket thingy,ill post the categories shortly when I post them you can vote when you want you have to 31st of August to vote and you send your pm's to dips.

    Just copy & paste that and then besides the category you write the forum member who you think deserves that award.

    That post I made was just for persons viewing to know the answer of the hosts so I just brought it up so persons would know if or not they could vote for themselves which I think shouldn't be permitted.

    And also hosts , elaborate more on the categories cause there will be some who wouldn't understand all of them like myself for especially this one (CW Member of the Year 06/07 (this you could nominate a 1st, 2nd, 3rd) ..... Anyone can be the member of the year so please explain this.

    I would say it is someone who has posted a lot of good posts. But the categories seem a bit samish to me. Like most dedicated and most passionate. They seem very similar. And CW member of the year and favourite poster seem very samish too.

    You should add few categories on games.

    I don't mean to rain on your parade, but i do have a couple of suggestions, you can either take them into account, or disregard them it doesn't bother me.

    It seems pointless having a "most passionate, dedicated member, knowledgable, helpful, funny" as well as a "favourite poster" and "CW Member of the Year" as being passionate, dedicated and knowledgeable etc. are pretty much the criteria for being the CW Member of the Year. So perhaps just Sticking to CW Member of the Year would be suffice ???

    That way the categories would be, Most Improved Member, Best Quote, favourite thread (thought it may be interesting) & CW Member of the Year

    It may be less categories, but they are then more meaninful ???

    anyway, thats just a suggestion...

    What is you criteria for CW Member of the Year ???

    I like that suggestion Claps , it simplifies the whole exercise.
