There is a lot of talk going on at the moment whether Joe Denly will be picked for the ODI's vs India and the 20/20 WC after his good performances for Kent this season.
I think that he sould just be picked for the 20/20

he wasn't in the provisional 30 for the T20 so he'd have to be a rank outsider to make it into the squad at the last gasp. I wouldn't mind seeing him in the ODI's but a better option would be a winter tour with the Lions.

whoops i made a big mistake in mistaking all the rumours for the mistaken darren maddy who HAS mde it into the 20/20 side but even with this mistake this can still be a mistaken, but open discussion about denly

Clobs , as usual is right. Denly will be thrilled if he's
selected for the Lions tour. It's not as if England are crying
out for batsmen just now - he'll get his chance when he's good and
ready.
