Cricket 07 is one of the worst! All though there are good graphics and all. Scoring is really easy even at hard unless you are a very slow learner. The player names of teams like Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, SL, WI are all wrong! They have spelled the names terribly!Considering that EA is such a popular company, the Should have taken extra care, but this was just sloppy and careless work. Hated it really! Apart from a few players all the other player's faces do not look realistic.

OVERALL I would give it a 4/10 ****######

How the hell u get players catch in first or second slips.
Also bowl and Lbw.
Majority of my wickets are from catches in the deep.
August 16th 2009, my team Youth Combine was crowned CHAMPION once more

This game is half rubbish, i once made 422 out of India's 612 in an 50 overs Odi match.

On what format? Personally the game isn't worth buying. Unless it's at a cheap price or a new, never seen before feature is added EA Cricket or Brain lara/Ricky Ponting Cricket won't be worth buying. If they put in more challenges then I would consider it.

Yet another victim, made to look like a fool by the likes of Bondy.

So many people comment on how the player's names are spelt incorrectly. Such a small detail will affect someone's decision to buy the game and yet graphics and gameplay mean nothing.

I made them correct long ago.

can someone tell me why are the names meant to be spelt that
way? Is it that EA Sports didn't care to buy the legal documents (and all that stuff) from India, Pak, SriLanka, West Indies and Bangladesh so that it becomes cheaper for them? or is it something else?

Look through this thread, I'm sure it's been repeated and it would be more precise seeing as we don't know what format you have the game on.

Cricket 2007 is more realistic and fun IMO. But you need PC version to apply the patches.

i'm amazed u ppl can't change the names!!! we do have a "rename" option once we click on a players name in squad management, later u need to "save" the roster and also "save" your profile to make the changes permanent.

u can also create players and add them to the roster.

really like cricket 07, unlike brian lara its for the truer fans of the game, if you enjoy the real chess eliment of the game (eg batting in a test and scoring at about 3 an over) then this is far better than brian lara, albeit the range of places that ball can go is minimal for each shot, and its anoying nnot being able to push the ball into the gaps, however the general game play is far better that brian lara
