Great job by Sehwag to get to three figures even though it was against Bermuda.  It must have done his confidence a world of good.  Kudos to the Indian team management for sticking with him.

India have flexed their muscles against the minnows of Bermuda by amassing 413 for 5 including Sehwag's century, 57* off 29 balls by Sachin and a majestic onslaught by Yuvraj who hit 83 off 46 balls.

To their great credit Bermuda kept chasing every ball, diving stops on the boundary even in the final over. There was also a lovely moment when big Leverock completed his spell, having been blazed to all parts he was still man enough to share a smile and joke with Tendulkar as he took his cap.

Quite true, Rifat, but I don't think anybody thought that India would score 413 after big defeat by Bangladesh.

Good batting by Indian cricketers, I guess Sehwag was waiting for this day to show his strength.

yup, record of most sixes (18), record of win by highest margin of win in runs. Highest ever in World Cup.

It was total fantastic batting by almost all the batsmen. I could have watched this match at home instead of wasting my time in school.

Nicely played by India. Well done to Sehwag, just hope he doesn't score single figures for 30 odd more innings. And Sachin, as always, sheer brilliance, lovely majestic knock and credit to the other batsman as well.

Tied the record for most 6's in an innings. SA only took 40 overs to do it though ;)

Fine response by the Indians after the disappointment against the Bangladeshis.  Fascinating to see the 6's bludgeoned by both Yuvraj and Sachin - hit to the same area !!  The left hander blazing over midwicket and the righthander hitting inside-out over cover/extracover.

As Clobs said , the Bermudans never gave up under the onslaught and that moment after the 49th over between Leverock and Tendulkar was heartwarming - that's what sportmanship and the great game is all about!

Congratulations to India , you've given yourselves a good chance to progress now and the SL game could even put the SA/Aus clash in the shade.

I just wish there was an award for the most sporting side in the competition - Bermuda would win it , hands down!

I am still not happy with the bowling though .Ajit Agarakar may have got 3 wikets but he stil wasnt convincing .While the  other teams did not allow Bermuda to get into 3 figures India let them get away with 156 .

The batting ws superb and really they were great .Dwayne Leverock impressed really and he was great to see in the field .

Bermuda maybe getting slaughtered all the time but there always giving it their all espeically in their field some of there fielding has been amazing this tournament there's been atleast 5-8 great catches by the Bermudans. David Hemp was impressive with this 75*.
Check out my blog http://crictopia.blogspot.com/ pretty bad though...

The Ind vs. SL is going to be the biggest game of the tournament in the group stages so far.  As for the sl-bd game, I hope one or the other has a big win.  It would be bad for India if that was a close game.  I cant see bd beating sl comprehensively.  So, I will be rooting for SL to cream bd.

It would be difficult to cream BD at this stage.

It's going to be a close match.

It's going to be overcast tomorrow. Toss will be an important decider.
I am with Bangladesh, whether they win or lose.

Well 3 days ago i was shock when a bunch of schoolboy beated up a team full of superstars like dravid, gan, sachin. Well yesterday watch a great day of cricket if you are an indian fan.

You see lads i had a phone call to sehwag a few days ago and it surely pay off for india and their fans. Hope you guys see why they can't drop sehwag. Ganguly good from continue. Superb, excellent, terrific, brillant, sensational, scintalling innings from y. Singh. Always good to see my partner chips in with a blazing fifty.

Believe it or not the match showed at midnight on my tv and i stayed up and watch it until 4 am, no sleep but it was surely worth it after seeing all those blows.

They equal the record with 18 sixes with SA.
I say if india chase against Sri lanka it a win but not sure if they bat first, but india always play well against asian teams in big tournaments.
August 16th 2009, my team Youth Combine was crowned CHAMPION once more

I was impressed with Sehwag, the feet are moving now.

Another test for tigers, love to see them fighting out , infact bangladesh and Ireland have really lightened up the world cup and I probably be watching Lanka Bang match compared to pakistan's match.
Expectations are high, have they done their bit of one upset or they have really come of age, we will all witness today. My favourite is bangladesh!
so far so good!

Ok, it didn't say that later on cricinfo so the guy must have made a typing error.  A 198-run win for SL.  That will suit India just fine.

This was a different Bangladesh team from Saturday. Sri Lanka really beat them badly. Bad batting collapse by them and a really good batting performance by Sri Lanka. Friday should be the real test for Sri Lanka (God willing).
