how come these two are grouped together every time, these teams will definately get through anyway, it would be better to see them clash in the super 8's where theres more pressure. Or maybe even the semi finals or the final

I really must say that India's T20 squad is a black box. Sometimes (actually, most of the time) I just cant understand the BCCI. Sehwag hasnt done anything remarkable since his exclusion from the squad and neither has Pathan. Harbhajan has done pretty well in England and I can understand him being brought back.
Sehwag being brought back just because of his reputation as a big hitter isn't enough of a reason for me personally. However, as we all know, if Sehwag is on song at the tournament, he could tear apart any attack.

Don't worry Scuudz, Sehwag's form months are around the corner. Expect him to tear Australia apart later down the year.

I think Pakistan will beat india mainly because pakistan seems to have a better bowling attack. Also india without their top 3 batsmen could be a little shaky, for me they should have included one of them, as exprience is always helpful.

it is very difficult to say something at the moment. India never played before without the key players. Pakistan will play also without the key players. I see a little advantage for Pakistan in Bowling attack and i think bowling will win matches in Twenty20 more than in other forms. 3 quick wickets in first 5 overs and its very difficult to fight back.

Also what i dont understand is why havnt india practiced in the 20/20 format in England. There playing 7 ODI's before the world cup and not a single 20/20 that could be a major factor in the cup.

Maybe they want these teams to catch up on all the cricket that they have not played against each other for so long when Pak did not tour India and vice versa!

I think that people are over rating Pakistan's bowling lineup. It's mainly pace bowlers and I think that could be their downfall.
Pacers normally go for quite a few in T20 so it will be intersting to see if this trend carries on.
India vs. Pakistan will be a good game to watch. Can't wait.

Well south africa normally has alot of green top pitches, so pace bowling attacks benefit quite alot. Also i think pakistan has quite a few spinners, some part time but still handy.

Afridi might be a handful with his quicker deliveries. He can be deceptive.

I have no predictions for the Pak vs India match. They both played badly at the world cup. Their performances were about the same at the world cup (neither of them even qualified for the super8 and they were both beated by lowly ranked teams). However, Pak had more disasters than India did with regards to losing their coach. Anyway who knows what will happen this time around. Both teams should be fighting really hard and then again it's 2020 cricket!

I still think that they're one full time spinner short. The pitches are solid and green which will provide grip for the spinners as well as seam movement. This will also bring the ball onto the bat more which batting teams love in T20. They need to find a way to take pace off the ball and they haven't given themselves many options to do it with.
I'd have to agree that Afridi's bowling can be dangerous and Khan doesn't normally go for many but it still bothers me that they haven't payed attention to T20 across the world which has shown that spinners fare better in this format.
