i was set on the albion, but when i came to try it on, it seemed massive and looked massive, and then a put a masuri on, and it had a nicer feel as well as being much lighter, so i went for that.

I agree with you on the Albions that they do look quite big.  On some people they look pretty silly.  I've used a Masuri for sometime and have no complaints whatsoever.

Anyone know who Masuri are?  Do they just make cricket helmets???

I have the old albion helmets like symmons and martyns and it feels really comfortable and i have used a masuri and they are excellent also. I don't like the new albions either.

I bought a cheap County helmet, only cost £12, but does the job. Used it all last season and had no problems. Don't go for the new Gunn & Moore, the new adjustable system it uses is very uncomfortable. The rubber rubs against your temple. Very poor for GM

yer definatly, masuri is a very good helmet, but those albion helmets look stupid on people with thing faces and they fell very top heavy. oh and beefy the gm hero helmet doesnt that is a good one but you are right about the other one that is just annoying it keeps rubbing on ur head, not a good helmet but i am sure we will see international players wearing it.

The two obvious are masuri and albion

The albion has a lot smaller space between the helmet and grill but the helmet fits a lot easier

masuri has a good size adjuster at the back that is very comfortable.

i use a masuri, they are good as the grills don't bloke your vision for the ball. also they are lighter than any other average helmet.

the helmet is made out of fiberglass, and it is pretty strong but i got hit on the head once, i had a huge bump on my head for a week!

they are strong but not very shock absorbent

I know helmets arn't a fashion accessory but i've heard the albion ones are very big and bulky. I've got quite a small head and was wondering do you think it would look stupid or do they make them in different sizes?

you can get albion test series helmets in two sizes

small to large

large to xxl

if youve got a small head get a small to large

they do look bulky, but they still look pretty gud, plus they are much more protective than masuri

my main concern about the new albions is that the gap etween the helmet and grill is to small then I saw mike husseys and I then knew that I should use those but it depends on what you want try all the helmets on in my opinion though the new albions feel the best and the cushhioning in there was brilint the masuri's felt flimsy to me who cares if it's titanium or not does it truelly feel any different ?  seems a watse of money to me

you can always adjust the grill on helemts, to make the grill a bit lower. the average masuri is pretty light compared to other helmets, but the titanium grill makes it much lighter. i didn't think it would, but it did, honestly.

I recently bought a Masuri one. I did not get the light weight one, which i think is aluminium or something similar? It is so light and does the job when keeping or batting.

I have always liked Masuri, for its lightness yes, but lately I am beginning to think perhaps, a helmet with a better ventilation such as Albion, GN predator, or GM hero might be a better choice? I dont know about you guys, but man I sweat a bucket under Masuri!

Albion is tried an true...Aussie made, can't beat that. Not to mention the majority of international cricketers have been using them, in some shape or model.

I've bought a new albion helmet (it has a carbon steel grill) it is very comfortable and absorbs impact well. Highly recommenbd it

C & D Albion Test Helmet. It's brilliantly comfortable. The best range in my opinion.

I don't know how you can rate helmets. According to me all are equally good or you must buy the latest addition. Thats all.
