Hmm this is wierd because most of you are talking about cricket in England, well i am a schoolboy in australia and play in one of the most competitive competitions in the country. I'm in the 15a's and the only reason not in firsts is because of a back injury prevents me from bowling atm, uummmm we had a pre competition on the holidays... I got 2, 20, 30, 68 which was alright and opened the bowling for first two matches but only could bowl 3 overs as returning from injury and got 0/6 off three first match, and 2/9 off second so  was pleased with that.

LOL. Not bad.

I had training today and I had a great laugh but didn't actually play very well. Got absolutely whacked on the knee when I was bowling so I'm hobbling about the place just now! Batted crap, bowled fine. LOL

33, 2 (runout), 7, 30*, 23

that is 95/4 which is 24. However the team hated me because I stayed in so long ina 2020 match. LOL

LOL. Our whole top 5 all averaged about 30. Except Mr Prodigy who averaged 42 and another guy who averaged 50.16 (he's left now, though. So our international Barbados guy. God, we'll all suck!)

What was your average last year for school? (Just guess)

i doubt that, our teams going to be a joke this season because our batsman who averaged 75 last season has left. The next highest average was 16 LOL

thats just my opinion anyway

I told you it was called that in the other thread.

I'm just going to train 7 times a week in the summer. This is my week of cricket.

i know, i was just confirming that i was reading the same one as you

It takes people different amounts of time but, I'd agree it doesnt take that long to become that accurate.

Well, yeah, there's probably the natural ability to turn the ball but you still need to learn to be accurate.
