My nets are going fairly well at the moment, I'm getting some wickets and not getting out very often when I'm batting

Hmm this is wierd because most of you are talking about cricket in England, well i am a schoolboy in australia and play in one of the most competitive competitions in the country. I'm in the 15a's and the only reason not in firsts is because of a back injury prevents me from bowling atm, uummmm we had a pre competition on the holidays... I got 2, 20, 30, 68 which was alright and opened the bowling for first two matches but only could bowl 3 overs as returning from injury and got 0/6 off three first match, and 2/9 off second so was pleased with that.

I had training today and I had a great laugh but didn't actually play very well. Got absolutely whacked on the knee when I was bowling so I'm hobbling about the place just now! Batted crap, bowled fine.

errrm theseour my innings
33, 2 (runout), 7, 30*, 23 that is 95/4 which is 24. However the team hated me because I stayed in so long ina 2020 match. ![]() Edited by 70_degree_spin - 28 January 2007 at 3:12pm |

i doubt that, our teams going to be a joke this season because our batsman who averaged 75 last season has left. The next highest average was 16

Summer will probably go like this:
Monday: Training
Tuesday: Training/ Mid Week League
Wednesday: More Mid Week League
Thursday: U-15 Matches
Friday: Thank God, my day off!
Saturday: School Games/ Day off
Sunday: Match
Well, I should be royally dead by the end of August!

It takes people different amounts of time but, I'd agree it doesnt take that long to become that accurate.

Well, yeah, there's probably the natural ability to turn the ball but you still need to learn to be accurate. |

like it says in shane warnes auto-biograpy ( which is called "my autobiography" by the way 70DS) you have to be naturally gifted to bowl leg spin, its not something you can learn to be good at, if you are naturally good at it then its quite easy to pick up and get very good at. thats just my opinion anyway
