ive read that he is talked about as the new andy flintoff and he outshone simon jones on his comeback match where simon took no wickets in 36 overs and james harris took 13 overall in the match

what do you think of him?

I've not heard of him, so I couldn't really comment. Players are always a bit rusty in their comeback matches. How old's he?

nice bowler with a good temperament too (which I guess he'd need to cope with being in that awful Glamorgan side). I've not seen him bat yet.

his 87* shows he has some ability with the bat. I've only seen him bowl so far but he looked good in that aspect.

We need to give him a season or more first before we start pushing him into the England side. If we rush him then we could ruin his career rather than make his career.

That's why I said "or more." But I don't think England will wait 3 or 4 seasons for him.
I can see them calling him into the international fold within 2 seasons.

To be honest I'd use Shahzad in the England set up if we need a short term replacement for Flintoff. He's not the easiest player to get away, can take wickets and his ability with the bat.
For the future though I can see a very strong bowling attack.
There's some good young seamers coming through and also some good spinners.

And plus there is one of my boy coming up for Surrey too and I hear he is really playing well and bowling fast too - Chris Jordan! He has intentions to play for England too I heard!

he's not especially rapid as yet.

Chris Jordan looks a real player spin wizard.

This lad is a GUN player - Will be as good as Shaun Pollock eventually.
Very similar bowling style, but more technically correct as a batter.

Pollock has a fine batting style and plays nice and straight - how more technically correct can Harris be ?

This guy has the potential to be a star..

I agree give him time and not push him into the England frame to early!

It will be interesting to see how he does in what should be in his first full year of first team cricket  - if he plays ofcourse.

Other youngsters such as Goodleman who did well last year ( I hear he hit a century in a warm up game for England Under 19s against Sri Lanka yesterday). It will be intrested to see if he kicks on from all the hype around him...

I know hes not so young...but get Samit Patel in the England setup!!!
