No problem. The reason that Zimbabwe aren't there is that I don't want them involved due to what's going on there. That's just me I'm afraid. I'll pencil you in for Bangladesh - you have until Sunday evening to submit me a squad of up to 18 qualified (max-age of 40) players for your first game against UAE. Remember to let me know the 3 venues too.

Small update:

I thought for naming teams/pitches, the home team can post the pitch condition on here then each manager (if they wish) can PM/MSN me their team and I'll then post both teams simulataneously on here. That way, it's as realistic as possible with neither team gaining an advantage from naming their team second. Of course, feel free to name your team in public if you so wish...

I've changed the scoring system to 3 points for a win - more of a reward for playing attacking cricket as before with 2 points it wasn't much of a difference.

LATEST NEWS from www.cricketworld.com...

Vaughan in confident mood prior to Sri Lanka series

Michael Vaughan has indicated that his England team is ready to win 7 series on the bounce as new coach Sledger gives a call up to Owais Shah, recalls Chris Read and drops Geraint Jones.

Pennington believes he has the team to 'succeed where Australia failed'

Call ups for a host of unknown quantities as Pennington declares his team capable of upsetting Vaughan's England.

South Africa go right back to basics

Recalls for (deep breath) Gary Kirsten, Cullinan, Rhodes, Klusener, Schultz and Donald as well as van Jaarsveld and Henderson.

Ganguly, Gambhir dropped by India as Dhoni and Rao come in

India coach GingerPrince has given Ganguly and more surprisingly opener Gambhir the boot and selected MS Dhoni for his first Test squad, along with Rao, RP Singh and JP Yadav.

Can King and Dillon arrest the Windies slide?

Reon King and Merv Dillon are the men Superbokkie has recalled to the squad in an attempt to beat the Aussies in Australia. Ridley Jacobs has made a comeback and will also travel to Australia

One Hammer playing cards close to his chest

With just two days before the deadline, Australia selector One Hammer has yet to give any inkling of his squad. Saadadvanced7 yet to decide on Pakistan squad

No surprise that saadadvanced7 seems to be waiting until the last possible moment to name his Pakistan team to travel to West Indies. Odds on Shoaib Akhtar managing a full game have been cut from 200/1 to 100/1.

West Indian coach Michael Superbokkie has named his starting lineup to play Australia. He said, "I hope this is rendered irrelevant by the fact that Australia are yet to name their team. We had a twenty minute practise today. Well, actually, it was a 4 hour practice but the players did about 20 minutes of kicking a ball around. Cool, mon."

The team is as follows, in batting order: Gàyle, W Hinds, Sarwan, Lara, (c) Chanderpaul, Samuels, (w) Jacobs, DJ Bravo, R King, Collymore, Lawson, and the 12th man is DS Smith.

JH Kallis is the only player in history to have 8000 runs, 200 wickets and 100 catches in BOTH forms of the game. Only Sobers (tests) and Jayasuriya (one dayers) have achieved half that feat.

What's all this about. I'd like to be involved next time this happens.
My two favourite Batsmen:
Jacques Kallis is a very solid but destructive batsmen and not to mention he can bowl as well.
I also like Michael Clarke for his amazing batting talent at such a young age

Right guys, it is Sunday evening and we've almost got all of the things ready to go. However, I still need:

One Hammer to post an Australian squad; and 3 venues for the games

Titan to give me 3 venues for the games

If One Hammer doesn't post a team before I log on tomorrow morning then I shall make the Australian squad up from what it is more or less currently.

I might as well post the injuries for this round of games:

Marlon Samuels West Indies

Ross Lyons, Sean Weeraratna Scotland

Tony Suji Kenya

P Dassanayke Canada

Please feel free to pick your starting line ups from any time now - PM me or post them here, it's up to you although you may wait until the pitch conditions are known. Home teams, pitch conditions can be announced from now; remember excellent, normal or poor.

Seeing as Samuels is injured, Superbokkie has elected to call up DS Smith to Samuels' place, bringing in the athletic talents of D Ramdin as 12th man.

The team is as follows, in batting order: Gàyle, W Hinds, Sarwan, Lara, (c) Chanderpaul, DS Smith, (w) Jacobs, DJ Bravo, R King, Collymore, Lawson, and the 12th man is D Ramdin.

West Indies is praying that Australia forget to name a squad.

Latest news is that One Hammer's assistant, one Terry Venables is due to name the Australian squad if One Hammer makes a no-show. Inside reports suggest that this could well be the most interesting squad composition in recent history.

if i have to name a 12 man squad here is my top heavy batting squad, but it helps when you got warney and mcgrath together in one team,a risk can and is taken,as we lost the ashes and we are going radical and inventive as well as stupid to try and win witha view to the future...

starting 11 with 12th man below,,,,

Matthew Hayden
Justin Langer

Ricky Ponting Capitano
Brad Hodge
Michael Clarke
Mike Hussey
Adam Gilchrist W/Keeper
Andrew Symonds
Brett Lee
Shane Warne
Glenn McGrath

12th man Stuart MacGill
