Yes, I got confused between your two sides earlier, sorry. I have your bids, don't worry.
I'd also recommend that everyone submits five players, especially with a small nation like New Zealand as two or three players are proving very popular!

you get 1 player per auction Monty. Once we've got through the main auctions it's open season.

That's why you got Dhoni even though your bid was matched - that comment swung the deal.
Bids for New Zealanders from Spin Wizard and robbie, please.

A possible problem with that is time difference between the players, as well as school and work etc.

Yup, I understand that Tyke, I bid for NZL last night as per IST, spent the entire day in office and now even after 26 hrs we don't have all the bids! Thats certainly taking a lot of time...

Spin Wizard did tell me he wouldn't be around at the weekend so let's just have a bit of patience please. As soon as I get his bids, I'll do the auction.

Whereas Spin Wizard's in the West Indies so at the moment it's 12pm or 1pm, school hours/office hours. If there was cricket practice or anything last night then it'd cause problems for spin to make his bids.
Robbie's got his bids in earlier I think (He was logged in), so we're just waiting on SW.
Shouldn't be too long before the bids are finished I should think.

Ironic thing is, spin wizard has sent me bids for a lot of countries. For some reason, he missed New Zealand out!

OK, results of the auction are as follows
Surrey picked up Chris Martin for £3.2 million Freuchie picked up Brendon McCullum for £9.5 million Caribbean picked up Kyle Mills for £4 million Melbourne picked up Tim Southee for £3.5 million Kolkata picked up Dan Vettori for £6.5 million Hyderabad picked up Jacob Oram for £8.5 million Perth picked up Martin Guptill for £4.5 million Canterbury picked up Jesse Ryder for £4 million West Yorks. picked up Ross Taylor for £5.5 million Blackpool picked up Jamie How for £4 million
Money left in £m:
Surrey: 77 Freuchie: 70.5 Caribbean: 67.6 Melbourne: 79.5 Kolkata: 70.9 Hyderabad: 72 Perth: 71.3 Canterbury: 67.5 W. Yorks: 77 Blackpool: 76
Bids for Pakistan players now welcomed.
I've already received bids from tyke, sam_ahmed, spin wizard, mystery, bladescape
I would advise everyone to bid for the maximum five players seeing as two or three players from each country are always very popular!

JP someone earlier said what you pay is one more than what second offered to pay so does that mean someone offered 9.4 for mcCullum or are they wrong

No Monty - you have to wait for the set auctions to finish. And shouting about players you didn't get isn't that clever either as others might have forgotten about them until you told them!

Well, that's gone well - I've got Pakistan bids from everyone except dips, and that's fair enough as it's 2am in India at the moment!
Seeing as we are getting quite a few bids for the same players in each auction, I will allow you up to eight player bids - as unlikely it is you'll need them, it should avoid you ending up with no players.
