Clobber'll love this. No doubt he's going to say Warwickshire will come first in both their leagues. Up until a few years back, I thought Wagh was going to be our next big thing before Bell overtook him.

i know....

finished all teams now, surprisingly he puts warwickshire at the top of CC.

I quote his reason, *cough**cough*:

"The signing of Vettori could be the most important of the year. Quality spinners are crucial ingredients to success not only for their wickets but also because they reduce the workload of the seamers. The batting is strong and deep, and the squad has a good mixture of youth and experience. Might be difficult to maintain focus for the one-day league given a strong championship run."

For clobber, they put leicestershire's young man to watch as Stuart Broad and your key player as Hylton . also your weakness is the departure of gibson, i quote "has left a huge hole in the seam attack" .

They should pin this thread up in the Somerset dressing room when we get to play Warwickshire.

What does it say about our key players and losses?

somerset

young one to watch is arul suppiah with your key man in the form of the one they call ian blackwell. your strength is your youth with your weakness being inexperienced batting; ageing quicks; runaway flat track.

Mark wagh says:

"Overseas players have played a large role in Somerset cricket over the last few years but, with the lower profile signings this year, the english talent will have to come to the fore. The seam bowling will be rely heavily on cad****, and blackwell, with the talented matthew wood, will shoulder the batting responsibility. The inexperienced squad may find the coming season challenging."

Suppiah as one to watch? If he gets in the team that is. Other than that I think he's got it about right, apart from claiming Blackwell is a seamer, or is that just your editing?

no thats what he said, i thought that at the beggining but if you read the bit after you understand, he's reffering to blackwells and matthew woods batting

I think Durham have a better chance that what is predicted up there. A lot of bright, promising youngsters. I think they could be some what of a surprise package this year

How thoughtful of Mark Wagh to not avoid the forum filters.
