pacer laximpathy balaji[ not sure whether the spelling is correct] and england's simon jones. Are they still injured and will they be able to make a comeback to the international level? |

I think Simon Jones is aiming for April.

If Jones recovers full fitness and form then he would do I expect. Don't know about Balaji.

Balaji is back in full fitness and so is Ashis Nehra .It was a surprise that after his last Cup's heroics Nehra was excluded .Both are waiting to get a call up .While Balaji hasnt done anything special ,the selectors want Nehra to prove that he is fully fit .

Well last time Simon Jones came back from injury he did it with the mastery of reverse swing, now I might be expecting a little much but I wonder what magic he will come up with this time ;-)
Either way I cant see either Mahmood or Plunkett keeping him out the side for long if he can stay fit and perform like he did during the last ashes, in fact i'd say his loss is the biggest blow the England team could have other then the loss of Flintoff. |
