Next I guess you'll be saying 7/12 sounds better then 8/24. |

Harmison on bad tracks! It will be a nightmare to face him. After facing Murali and Warne you'll be out but alive, but not the ame with Harmison and Akthar!

It's not easy to single out any single Bowler.
There are other factors that help a bowler (a) fielding standards (esp the close in fielders/keeping) (b)Morale of the opposing team.(c)SLEDGING intensity. (Some teams are experts at this and even discuss it on field- U Know Who).(d)Umpiring (we had some classic examples of the good and bad of it recently)(e)Ground support. and unfortunately the ugly emergence of (f)Performance enhacing stimulants.
I like to have comments espcially from SLEDGER on this. Edited by LankaLion - 23 January 2007 at 5:01am |

The choices in the poll would make any decent batsman nervous
before facing a ball! A dry pitch would make Murali and Warne
more than a handful.
A quick wicket would have batters ducking and diving when facing Shoaib and a seaming track would make McGrath scary! But if you ask any batsman the conditions they hate the most are on surfaces with uneven bounce. Getting forward to one that spits can get you a smack in the mouth and one that stays low and you go back can either bowl you or trap you right in front. Harmison , when bowling well would unsettle even the greatest of players in those conditions , but so would any quality quick bowler! I think a better question would have been which pitch conditions are the trickiest for batsmen in a test match. I think top batters , when set , can handle any conditions except the uneven surface. |

I'd say Murali, but it was a difficult choice between him and Warne. In my expert opinion the most difficult bowling to face is mine in any conditions....!!!!! |

A very, very, very realistic dream in which you featured with stumps flying everywhere! |
