Has anyone used one of these or know of anyone who has?
They look excellent bats, but experiences would be greatly appreciated
cheers

Finding a genuine one appears to be the main problem from what I know

Ive got a friend who has one. it is quite a heavy bat. Big middle, thick edge. Very quality bat, but just a bit over priced. He got it for £110.

Is that on auction sites that you're referring to clobbs?
Or shops in general?

Certainly on the auction sites Leezy - I know for a fact how much they cost to get at trade rates direct from India so there is no way these people are selling genuine bats at some of those prices.

I was looking at one on MRFcricketbats.com, which is 110 reduced from 135

Well, as a proud owner of an MRF Genius. I don't know where you can buy these bats. My brother got it from India when he went on holidays there and it is a great bat to have. The weight might be heavy for some people, but not for me. Nice middle and edges, good pickup. Very good bat overall. In Australia, they're overpriced by a country mile. They're $465 for the 'Little Masters' bat.
But, I know some people who have bought these bats and have found that it was too heavy and couldn't play with it properly, so they tried returning it to the shop, but they couldn't.

If it is the bog standard Genius they'd be making a few quid on it (only a few mind!) so it is probably legit. It it was an XLE at that price they would be making next to nothing and I'd have some concerns about that.
