Some may notice my stoppage in the CW XI sim, that is because I was setting up a sim.(Like team sim instead of player sim).
It is somewhat similar to JP's.(You can sue me afterwards! )
I.E.You can choose where-ever you want as your home base.(However,you don't get a star player from your home,so you can have a team based in the USA!) I'm going to use a draft method rather then the auction type used by JP. You set the pitch by choosing 1 or 10 or anything inbetween,like so: Pace:5 Bounce:5 Spin:5 10 means hard for batters,and 1 easy,the bowlers will benifit differently depending on the combonation. There'll be a pool to choose from soon,but I'm still compiling it. Milky:Victorian Vipers(MCG) Team:M.Johnson,J.Kallis,S.Mushtaq,K.Pietersen,S.Pollock,M.Prior,M.Hussey,P.Hughes,A.Mendis,S.Jayasuriya,D.Hussey,N.Bracken,I.Harvey,Y.Khan,A.Prince,B.McCullum,I.Pathan,Y.Singh,O.Shah,L.Malinga Zuhair:Karachi Dolphins(Karachi stadium) Team:S.Tendulkar,J.P.Duminy,K.Sangakkara,S.Akhtar,Z.Khan,B.Hilfenhaus,A.Kumble,A.Strauss,M.North,P.Collingwood,I.Trott,G.Onions,U.Akmal,D.Kaneria,M.Patel,S.Broad,U.Amin,C.Martin,C.Ferguson,G.Elliott Raj:Modi's Army(Sawai Mansingh Stadium) Team:R.Sharma,S.Raina,G.Gambhir,A.B.De Villiers,D.Bravo,L.Klusener,A.Morkel,F.Alam,N.Miller,D.Wiese,P.Chawla,P.Kumar,M.Aamir,S.Badrinath,K.Akmal,R.Uthappa,S.Sreesanth,C.Wright Dips:Kolkata Tigers(Eden Gardens) Team:R.Dravid,J.Langer,B.Lee,G.Swann,M.Boucher,R.Naved-Ul-Hasan,A.Nehra,V.V.S.Laxman,S.Ganguly,A.Agarkar,M.Attapattu,A.Matthews,C.Vaas,R.Taylor,H.Gibbs,M.Goodwin,S.Afridi,A.McDonald,S.Harmison,V.Kohli Spin:West Indian Eaters(Kensington Oval) Team:S.Warne,V.Sehwag,D.Steyn,S.Chanderpaul,B.Haddin,P.Jaques,S.Ajmaal,U.Gul,A.Razzaq,B.Hodge,R.Sarwan,T.Dilshan,C.White,A.Nel,A.Barath,R.Rampaul,P.Siddle,D.Ramdin Mystery:IPL Killers(Lahore) Team:G.McGrath,A.Gilchrist,M.Muralidaran,M.Hayden,A.Flintoff,S.Katich,I.Farhat,P.Ojha,J.Oram,M.Henriques,A.Mishra,M.Ntini,U.Chandana,R.Key,N.Zoysa,A.Voges,J.Anderson,C.Gayle NZ_Fast:Canterbury Crushers(Christchurch) Team:R.Ponting,S.Bond,S.Watson,H.Singh,M.Trescothick,S.Clark,D.Karthik,M.Jayawardene,T.Sameraweera,S.Tait,W.Jaffer,H.Herath,M.Ul-Haq,H.Kuhn,M.Tiwary,D.Nannes,N.Kulasakera,J.Ryder,E.Rainsford Sam:Hyderabad Victors(Rajiv Gandhi Stadium) Team:M.S.Dhoni,S.Ul-Hasan,G.Smith,M.Asif,M.Clarke,D.Vettori,S.Butt,M.Yousuf,D.Bollinger,H.Amla,J.Taylor,A.Cook,M.Mortoza,T.Paine,S.Malik,W.Parnell,A.Rashid,D.Fernando,R.Ten Doeschate,J.Krezja Edited by bladescape - 10 November 2009 at 11:52am |

I was sure I had already posted that I was in for this. Guess not.
Right, well I'm keen for this. I'm really busy the next few weeks which means I'll spend a lot of time here procrastinating. |

I'm in too Blade.
My team name will be same as Hyderabad Victors (as was in JP's SIM) My Ground will be Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium based in Hyderabad, India.
But let me know if in this case I'll not be able to pick players from India?
How do we select a team? Edited by sam_ahmed - 08 October 2009 at 11:58am |

As in JP's sim, no limit to foriegn or non players.
After all the teams are named and given a stadium,we're then going to have a draft to make the teams. |

It'll be simple Milks, we select a squad of players and the fixtures will be decided by Blade. He'll simulate all the matches depending upon the playing eleven that we select for each game. I believe in home games we can decide what type of pitch, outfield etc we want. After each game is done, blade will put up the score cards and results.
JP did a wonderful job with his Sim earlier, I'm expecting the same from blade!

Read JP's sim here. The main differences is I'm using a draft instead of an auction, and I'm using a different sim. |
