Are there any other sports apart from indoor cricket that can help with cricketing skills?

I play tennis so I was wondering if they came together some how

Tennis wouldn't hurt your hand-eye co-ordination anyway

As clobber already mentioned, Tennis is good for your hand-eye co-ordination. You can play badminton for the same reason... and table tennis.

I also play hockey, it helps with speed, hand eye co-ordination, balance and strength (in the arms legs). Johnty Rhodes also played hockey and was a goalkeeper in football.
I took 5-14 in 1 match last season, turned out 2 be the best bowling figures for 1 match in our entire league :D

Are you talking about street hockey, field hockey, ice hockey, or floor hockey.

It doesn't really matter, does it? Because they're all for the same purpose.

Blooming heck five month gap in between posts. That's impressive. I play a bit of badminton and to be honest think the only way it helps is my fitness levels. I suppose hand eye co ordination as well perhaps?

Great for feet movement aswell.

Swimming is good for upper body strength, crucial for bowlers.

field hockey, i think jonty actually had a few games with the full sa hockey team!

and i think it does matter becuase if your using roller blades or ice skates, the balance is alot different to standing still at the crease!

boo ha ha!

Well I play badminton and it has 2 effects

1. I time the ball better and my reactions are much faster.

2. I am a more a wristy player when batting though because of the heavy emphasis on your wrists in badminton.
