No you are right. He has at least one 2020 century. He has done well for Vic as well, I went to all of the home games at the MCG.

See you later Gilly! Thanks for the memories!

If England stands a chance in this 20/20 worldcup, Trescothick has to be the one to get them off to a flier or england dead mate.
No Trescothick, no final for england.

Haha. I think the thing that is annoying the Aussies is that they finally won the ICC Champs trophy. So they had all the trophies in the cabinet. Now ICC has put another revenue earning tourament together, so it means Australia has to win this one to get all the trophies. None of the Aussies are seasoned 2020 pros and they didn't select any specialists.
Jeez, why don't they make a test world championship or a test tri series. I would so go and watch.

See you later Gilly! Thanks for the memories!

1 Rand is about 14 cents US. So 200 Rand is about 28 US.

Yeh, I just checked.

28 is NOT bad... but probably over the top. But, yeh --- when I look at the converted value, 1 Aust. Dollar buys 90 US Cents, so it isn't so bad - but then again, it is a 40 over game (Max).

You would think as a moderator you would show a bit of respect to members, instead of constantly dismissing everything I say and acting obnoxious towards me.

No Collymore or Ganga as the West Indies name their squad - some names that many of us won't be familiar with here:

Some of those names that many of you guys won't be familiar with are in good regional form.
Why not have a go then.

Yeah there are some names there that I don't even know about. But spin and BFM should know about them because they follow regional cricket here in the windies. Well with regards to Ganga I don't blame the selectors for dropping him for this 2020 world cup because he did not perform when he was picked. Nice to see Ravi Rampaul's name on that list though!

I don't know why they picked Crandon. You guys think Harmison is bad, wait until you see Crandon with a white ball in his hand.

Ganga's strike rate is lower than his batting average.

Some of those players you never heard of Daisy played good in the Stanford 2020 competition last year. Crandon can strike the ball a long way too. A nasty piece of pinch hitter he is! I think Kelly is too fat for this game though. LOL

The Indian squad is going to be named on the 7th of August.  I trust we will see more than few new names on the list with the big 3 ruling themselves out.  India A is making merry in Zimbabwe at the moment so theres a few that could be picked on the basis of their performances there.

I wouldn't say Snape or Maddy are shocks as they are proven class performers in this format.

I still think Wright might consider himself a little lucky and I am surprised at Schofield - largely on the grounds that I think he is rubbish.

You misread me Clobs, my shock was that the selectors actually broke some new ground for once. I was fully expecting to see Anderson, Bell and co. but fair play, they've actually picked a squad which should suit the game.

I hope that Maddy and Snape are given the opportunity to guide the likes of Collingwood and Flintoff (who I presume will be the vice-captain) being proven winners as captains in this format.
