OK, it may seem like I'm pulling up an old thread, however. recently Phillip Hughes made his NSW debut at age 18, the youngest since Clarke, he scored an impressive 51, then he made his list A debut and scored 68, seems a very promising talent.

need more matches to judge whether or not he is talented.
Here's another person from india who should get his call in the national squad. but may not be considered as a youngster as he is 27.
Badrinath he is averaging 58 in first class in 50 odd matches.

yes, that's what I was trying to say, anyway I left out that Brendan Julian sad "he was playing very maturely" n his innings of 68, and that he played a game for the chairmans XI.

Kemar Roach of Barbados is said to be bowling faster than Tino Best! People rate him highly back here. I think he's about 20.

In troubled times, being philosophical helps a great deal, it helps you to remain sane and not do any further damage.

Moises Henriques from New South Wales - Australia, is a very exciting young talent that could fill a role as a genuine allrounder for Australia in a few years

To be honest I haven't seen enough of him to make a judgement. He's only played a couple of domestic games in total.

Maybe, he hasn't really come on like they would have hoped. Plenty of potential though.

What does anyone think to Samit Patel? He is still fairly young and should have been picked for englands one day setup at least in my view...
After a great season with notts he should surely be in the frame and i am disspointed that england havnt gone to him yet

August 16th 2009, my team Youth Combine was crowned CHAMPION once more

I've never known him to be that fast. He's still very young though and definately has it in him to be a big star in the future. Not too sure about his batting though, where did you get idea from?

I mentioned Southee on page two, look where he is now, represented the national team, if only in 2020s and so far had a solid un19 WC.

Not to backseat mod, but maybe this thread should be moved into player discussions?
