ICC picked the World XI Sledger picks his nose ICC renowned for being generally useless/pathetic *It's a joke, saad, a double entendre (not a great one but you'll have to get used to us and our English sense of humour)* |

Glenn McGrath at 8, Saad? And no proper Test openers (aside from Dravid who used to do it)?

Saad is that the order they are supposed to play in? because you know I think that Murali should be 11....send glenn up to 10. If this is your test order how come gilli is soo high up the order? Kallis should be at number three and Lara at number four and then maybe put gilchrist at number five. |

Why are most of theese XI's missing Ricky Ponting, he is a definate for any current world XI, he averages a stunning 57 in test match cricket after 97 test matches and over 40 in ODI's. A bloody brilliant fieldsmen, he, symonds and rhodes are the best 3 fielders i have ever seen (plus a couple of otyher, they are my top 3 in no particular order) A decent captain too.

Yea, even my 11 doesn't have Ponting in it. Ponting should be in the best 11. He has performed well this year.

Yes Saad...i thought D.Bravo was dwayne bravo but I was really surprised to see his name in the squad that is why i asked who was D Bravo. I did not know he was that popular.....but he probably deserves to be there after his good performance in Australia in that last tour between wi and aus. But I sitll think that Lara should be in that squad along with bravo

Well, when you said "who is D. Bravo," I took it literally and thought you didn't know who Dwayne Bravo was, but you were actually trying to convey the fact that you didn't think he deserved to be in a best 11.

Look guys, here is the original thread for posting 'dream XIs', or whatever you like to call them. It was only on the third page anyway, so it wasn't like it needed that much searching for... ...so let's keep dream team discussion to this thread please. |

he has a century and a 6 wicket haul against Aust, a century against Soth Africa and his best bowling figures of 6 for ?? against England. Handy all rounder to have, good form rite now, could revolutionize Calypso cricket, he and Lara could make cricket No.1 in the caribbean again and with the WC coming up, u can never know, West Indian cricket could dramaticcally improve.
