Mushfiqur Rahim?

Out of those though, Ramdin is probably my choice, although Kapugedera clearly has something about him.

i think that it would be suresh raina because he has been in quite good form lately and has been a very useful player with the bat and ball. i think that he might become like another yuvraj or even better.

Mohammad Asif is surely going to be a big star in the future. Pakistan also have some bowling stars in the U-19 team.

Well, then 'everyone' is sort of over-rating him. How can you call him a future star when he hasn't even made his debut!

Are you saying he's already played a 100 Tests or are you being sarcastic.

He can't be called a star until he proves himself on the International stage.

Yes some people think that if a new player has a few good innings they will be the new best batsmen, they will go on to score the most runs, take most wickets etc..

the theme of this thread is trying to suggest players who are going to go on to do well at international level - not those who already have done

i think liam plunkett has potential to be decent all rounder. He scored 20 off the last over in a odi against pakistan. However I hope Asif is going to get a hatful of wickets for Leicestershire this season.

No, I think the theme of the thread is trying to suggest players who are youngsters on the Intertnational arena and are going to become stars and possibly greats.

I'll wait until he has played a first class match or indeed more than two one day matches before giving him due consideration
