This is a series in Darwin,Australia played between Pakistan A,India A,Australia A & New Zealand A.New Zealand A won the first match against Australia A by a rompant 8 wickets with Jamie How leading the way by scoring a unbeaten 123* and Brad Hodge not looking to shabby himself by also scoring 123 but was eventually bowled by Aldrige.

While yesterday India A smashed Pakistan A by a massive 130 runs.Gautham Gambhir pressing back for selection by scoring 142 not out while his partner at the top of the order Robbin Uthappa who is also pressing for selection made a solid 72.

If Gautham Gambhir can succseed in this tour he could make his way back into the indian team but with Tendulkar coming back and Gambhir having some competition with Uthappa it almost looks impossible at this stage.

Here's the scorecards for both games

India just beat Aus A comfortably too today which highlights the worrying lack of strength in depth of the Aussie team , especially in the seam department.

Personally I'd expect India to beat an Aus A side? Don't know if it's just me that thinks any first choice national side should beat an a team.

Venagupol Rao the indian middle order batsman has been probably India's most dangerous with the ball against Australia 'A'.Gambhir & Uthappa where great in opening the batting.

So out of all the 'A' teams, which team is ranked no.1? Are there even rankings? Who is the favourite to win the Top End Series?
