Rudrap Singh in ODIs 10 matches,19 wickets,average 19,bbf 4-35 and tests matches 2,wickets 9,average 38.33

Mohammad Asif in ODIs 5 matches,7 wickets,average 22,bbf 3-30 and tests 3 matches,8 wickets,average 39.62

in my opinion rudrap singh is better hes younger hes averages are better and he is a wicket-taker to both very good young talents

Possibly the best player comparison thread we've seen. Very similar in that both have recently made their mark, both fast bowlers - economy rates are the only thing you could have added in to the analysis to make it better.

mohammad asif's economy rate in ODIs is superb but he has only played 5 matches by the way the bowling figures from the pakistan and india game yesterday arent counted so singhs average is probably 17.5 the only player that averages less then 20 that has taken over 50 wickets is shane bond

rp singh has got more man of the matches and has got more wickets in a match than asif. i my opinion i feel that he is better in this comparison. if he is determined then he can become better than pathan.

Asif had to lead the pakistan bowling attack in this series and did very well...coped with the pressure. disappointed with Rana!

and ODIs! He had to, literally, lead the attack single-handedly seeing Rana wasn't performing.

I hope he does, we lost the two matches because of him!

I used to be a big fan of him, but not any more!

It was such an important series, we just lost our winning trend, first series loss at home after a year!

And that was history in the making. When we won that series 4-2, we became the first team ever to be down 2-0 in a 6 match ODI series, and come back to win it 4-2.

Anyway, my comments on Asif and Singh.

They are both young and they are both fine bowlers. I think they will be future greats!

well, these two bowlers are certain to get better and although i hate to say it mohammed asif will become one of the great bowlers in the league and if rp singh can work hard he will too. my personal opinion is that rp singh is going to be better becuz he is younger and he is a left arm seamer and on an indian team which dosent have too much depth in the fast bowlling dept

RP Singh's bowling averages are better but Asif's more economical. Really, I wouldn't compare their stats just yet. Its way too early to compare their when they've both barely played 10-15 International matches in total.

Do you expalantion for the comment that you made on RP Singh? He's not getting chances to play, because they have good bowlers right now who little bit better than RP Singh.
