Hi its a nice game that we played more times a day then in this the last level its to difficult how to face that give some tips to attack.
Play cricket your way by setting your own pace. Crank up the game speed, ease back the difficulty setting and revel in the razzmatazz of Limited Overs or fully-licensed Twenty20 extravaganzas by playing a fast-blast match of hard-hitting sixes - or slow the pace down, slide the difficulty up and steel yourself for a five day Test.

they really nead to reload the whole commentary system so that you dont hear everything 50 times in a game.

offtopic, but did you guys know about the cricket 2002 cheat where if you had 2 controllers but was only playing a one player game you could pause with the second controller and change the computers field? i found that hilarious :P

i agree, You can't take the game seriously cause It's got so many bugs, But the games no where near fun, Cause the commentrys crap, and the players are emotionless freaks! Even 2020s are boring.

Commentry can get very annoying, especially in limited over matches, eg "Pitched strait to a fielder, Pitched strait to a fielder, Pitched strait to a fielder, Pitched strait to a fielder, Pitched strait to a fielder, Pitched strait to a fielder, Pitched strait to a fielder, Pitched strait to a fielder."

I always play on 5 star now. I mastered 4 stars about 2 months ago. I haven't won a test yet on 5 stars though.

I'm about to win my first test on 5 star difficulty though, I'm being England and I need 57 runs with still 6 wickets in hand, With Flintoff 125* and Collingwood 18*.

I still never bowl though on 5 stars, I always do the autoplay still.

There are some no-brainers with the commentry as well, eg Once the commentator said "well they've played poorly, I mean it's hole hearted stuff, But in the end, They just haven't played well enough."  For started they could tell us whitch teams playing poorly, But sencondly, The commentator once said that when 0.2 overs had been bowled in the whole series!Confused

I'v done the Ashes like Heaps of times. I still don't find the gameplay on that exiting. But before every ashes match on the game, Their always a sence of exiting atmoshpere, That other games don't have. e.g As I was saying, Nicholas gives a speech when England or Australia come out to play, About the team.

The grathics are ok. But I sometimes can't tell who the player is, Unless it's Ricky Ponting or Adam Gilchrist. Some players look the same, e.g Australia's Mitchell Johnson, Looks the same as Englands Ryan Sidebottom.

Yeah mate I agree, have you tried playing battle of the Ashes, that mate is interesting, just goes to show how Enngland and Australia are regarded as Cricket nationes. Perhaps if they improve on commentry, and add domestic cricket from other nationes it would be more interesting. They do have good graphics it must be said though.

I reckon hey JOF,(JacobOramfan) EA Sports must have thought that England and Australia are the most important international teams.Confused They also proberly thought that England and Australia are the only two places in the world where cricket should be played.Confused Or their the only two real cricketing nations. So basicly, What their cunningly trying to say, Is that if your not an Englishmen or an Aussie, Then you don't have the right to enjoy cricket.Cry I mean, The games been congratulated for all the special teams, But whats the piont in being a team like Kenya? When you can't do tests, And Richie Benaud don't even know how to say the word Kenya!Shocked Also, You can tell the games made for English and Aussie cricket fans. Nicholas only delivers speeches about England and Australia when they come out to play, About what the teams good at doing, ect. Names are also spelt wrong for some of the best players in the world, ie "Lara. Thats discrimination.Angry Just because England and Australia were the first two international teams.Angry

Hey, I thought you'd also be interested to hear this lads. I don't know if this is stange or not, But once I was being South Africa, playing the Northern Districts,(a domestic NZ team) In an ODI, On five stars, I bowled first, And bowled the whole team out for 15 runs!Shocked I bowled yorkers for the whole innings and just ripped through their batting line up. Nel took 4/1 and Nitti took 5/8. I wasn't happy at all through. I was borad, Because of the dead, boring, annoying commentry. bowling a team out for 15 runs on five stars so easily is bad enough. The commentry is real phathetic through.Confused If they add some exiting commentry to it, The game would be more exiting.

I also want to know why the gameplay in tests seem to be more exiting than the gameplay in ODIs.Confused Just dosn't make sense, Dosn't it?

I haven't actually got the game but I played it once and I found it annoying when they said "he surprised the batsman with that Yorker" when it was on a good length.

The game is ok when it come to the wide array of game modes though. The domestic seasons that they have is acually quiet well done. I also agree with the Australia A team that they have and all the other speciel teams they have as well. Those are the good things about the game. It just is a bit confusing, considering the fact that the names are mixed up, On some teams.

Dose anyone who if theirs any possible way I could change the names, for all the teams like Pakastan, India ect, To the right spelling, Without going through the trouble to change them all, on the sqaud mangent menu? (I don't always know who the player realy is, so thats why I need the name changer)

I'v got it on PS2.

The batting depends on the type of pitch, Alot of the time. If your playing on a dry pitch, Almost Every ball you hit will go on the ground and roll to the boundary, In attacking fields, No problem.

If you play on a wet pitch, The battings more challanging. You have to try to keep as many wickets in hand as possible, Otherwise you will loose too many wicket earlier on, And it will cost on this sort of a pitch. You will also find that on a wet pitch it's almost inpossible to hit boundarys without slogging.

Well.. Overall I think the games just a whole lot of garbage. Despite the main conplaints of the bowling and commentry, The game also has many other problems like the glitches in the graphics, The shocking looking crowd graphics And another big problem is that the players are all half dead, The way they move and slide quickly and also when the bowler takes a wicket it's always the same celebration no matter what the state of the game.Confused

Sloppy careless work.Dead Oh well, When Cricket 09 comes out their might have to be some serious inprovements.

You wouldn't believe how frustraiting it is. It comes and gose, It's proberly just the controls or something.

I have another question relating to the game.

Sometimes when I'm batting I loose control of the controls and the batsmen automatically defends every ball, It's so frustraiting.

Is anyone else familiar with this? How can I stop it?

True dat mate. The commentary is absolutely pathetic, have u seen how umpires call those shocking wides? And it is always same umpires, the commentry box doesnt change either. Even if it is Scotland touring Zimbabwe. I think they should really improve it man, they now have something to work on, I agree cricket is a very technical game, but that is a whole lot of rubbish.

Oh well, I guess we can't conplain, can we. I mean I don't think that there any other cricket games out there that are much better this.

Iv'e played a fifa soccer game made by EA sports, And the commentry on that is very lively, Alot more lively than this cricket 07 game and that fifa game I think was only 04 or something like that not 07! I think EA sports just thought that because cricket isn't a fast flowing game like soccer they chose to put boring commentry on it.

Well, I pose more than a 100 in five overs with five stars. Its all rediculoous. You cant hit a yoker on middle stump for six over extra cover can you, but come EA Cricket 2007, u hit it out of the park.

It's not so much bowl the yorker and the batsmens unrealisticly introuble, I think the problem is that you have too much controll over where the ball lands. I don't know, I suppose making the blue circle bigger may fix that problem or something.

I tryed a 5 over match today, on five stars. It wasn't inpossibe to slog. I managed to chase down a total of 68 and win. (remember this was a five over match on 5 stars)

I once tryed a test, On five stars, I bowled first and had the oppisition 3/12, after 10 overs, I than gave up and realized it wasn't realy any harder, Than 4 stars.
