Congradulations on 200 posts samhache, I agree although Australia might be on the wane seeing as without McGrath's preformances Lee and Tait will have to become more consistant.

the two best attacks in the world currently are either Australia or Sri Lanka. But i would lean on the sri lankan side. This can be justified through their two huge strike weapons - Lasith malinga and Murali. Two world class bowlers. Also Vaas is world class, the other bowlers arent so good but i spose still hold their own.

He can be a better bowler than Watson, to me in fact he is, just needs to work on his ru-up, coz pace and line are there.

The same question can be asked what Fernando is doing in that line up. He should be replaced with a guy like Ishara Amerasinghe or Prabath Nissanka (latter same pace as Fernando, but lot accurate)

Well there main two bowlers were missing, i mean lets say flintoff and panesar or harmison and hoggard were missing our bowling attack would be more horrendous than it already is. personally i believe they have the best bowling attack if everyone is fit thats just my opninon, i cant really see a better attack since som eof the austrialians have retired.

Pakistan have definately got an extremly strong bowling attack or even the best bowling attack if all the bowlers are present.

This constant dribbling about how much talent Pakistan has and they can beat any team in the world is total crap and needs to stop. Almost ANY team in the world can beat any other team on their day - just look through the history of the game.

Pakistan has got match winning individuals, only thing that is needed to make this team win is to keep them jointed and to form them like a gel team. If they could get the form of gel, no one can beat them in this world cup. From: Lion Heart

Oh boy, the Windies don't have the best bowling attack and still win matches. ODI is a funny game, the best in the business isn't really required to win but it would do real wonders if they are in the side.

Inspite of Pakistan playing without full strength like Akhtar and Gul, but Pakistan still won the match against SA in 2nd ODI  -- just imagine if Pakistan have full strength in WC - the result would be different and definitely, the  result will go favor for Pakistan

Pakistan has held on of the most potent attacks for the last two decades but has wone very few mportant games so therefore their attack cannot be seen as dangerous because as soon as the pressure valve is applied they roll over.
Judge the player not by their stats, but by their opposition.

i dont know about before but from today on pakisthan has da worst bowling attack in da world....(after seen da first odi between pak and SA)

wht u guys talking abt -- Pakistan is currently playing without  Gul , Shabbir Ahmed and Shoaib Akhtar  ---- that s why Pakistan looks weak without them ---  wait for them in WC -- Meanwhile Pakistan is just trying to use new bowlers like Sami and Rana to experiement -- Beside Pakistan is playing with one bowler is Asif - u cant expect to have better attack without Shoaib Akhtar and the rest of them  --- Dont forget it was flat track -- watch out for next match against SA -- Hopefully, it will be bouncy track  Smile  -- Not sure if pakistan may win but it s gonna be tough

So many options and are all potential match winners.

dont forget thilakarathna dhilshan. he can be very useful too.

Dilshan a dangerous bowler?? You must be thinking of someone else.

he is not a dangerous bowler but he doesnt give runs easily.

He said useful not dangerous.

I also agree about Australia - however they bowled fairly poorly yesterday in the Commonwealth VB series against New Zealand. Overall they've been bowling brilliantly of late.
County Sim on extended break until I've got less work and more free time. When I have a specific date, I'll post it in the thread.
