Did anyone have any other criticisms or anything to say about the forum?

It'll all help to making it a better place!

Cricket is pretty big in Perth, a lot of SAF ex-pats too... shame we don't see any Perthians on the forum. I might see what I can do, if any of my mates are interested. Not sure if there are any other Australians on this forum either, looks like it's mostly English and Indian supporters + Spin and Zuhair. Aussies have given up on our team clearly . I think I'm one of those guys who's pretty critical on the Aussie team, where as most supporters are one eyed and only look at praising Australia. Now there's not much to praise, so they probably won't contributed.

Had mystery learnt from his experience, he could have tried coming back with another name and behaved more appropriately than he did, taking on the moderators. While the other fellow, I believe, sees more value being here and I am perfectly fine with him coming with another name, that shows he still has the hunger to share his comments.

People are not removed from the forums simply for disagreeing with a moderator's opinion. However, why should we have to put up with someone being continually obnoxious towards us? That's certainly what happened in the case of the two posters sam_ahmed mentioned in his post, although one of them probably isn't too far away anyway.

I am quite happy with how the forum is. As Mikey said, maybe 2-3 more members like V4P and Mikey would be good. Other forums around us are plain crap. Moderation has kept this place a sane one and I enjoy being here. Yes, the frequency has reduced, but there are reasons. We don't have Sri Lankan supporters here anymore - which is why three are a very few comments in eng/SRL section. Let the Eng/Ind series start and the forum will be a lively place

I was one of those, viewed the forum heaps but never posted. I was posting on Planet Cricket before and on Cricinfo (comments section) as well as some Facebook pages.
Maybe you can promote the forum more on the home page or link a comment section for articles to the forum.
The forum has enough activity, you just have to wait a bit longer for a response. The worst on Planet Cricket was when you'd get Indians and Pakistanis debating for pages and pages about why Harbhajan is less of a chucker than Saqlain . 3 or 4 more regular posters would be awesome, but you don't need too much more than that. You have to filter our the trolls.

I'd agree with Max Power there, I can understand if someone is using offensive language or something like that but at times I have observed that simple arguments have resulted in a significantly harsh action.

I really don't know what happened to Milkman, he just disappeared, while mystery was suspended they kept the forum running big time, Sledge doesn't post as often these days and even Zuhair and Spinny have reduced their frequency of posting significantly.

V4P and Mikey have been very good additions but I'm sure even they'd like to see more members out here, Raj is fairly regular but even he has reduced his frequency these days, we need to do something to bring back the interest and also some of the old members.

CW use to be very lively at times in the past, a lot of posters have gone away, maybe due to commitment, I don't know.

Still got some old warriors around!

But what is the point if is is the off -topic post that attracts more users flipper? Yes, the forum is dull but it has been so for many a months now. Maybe an improvement in the website or the commentary section would lead to more traffic here too.

Well I've got to say things are really getting dull around here. So much so I’ve taken a look around the net today and there are cricket sites with shed loads of traffic, but as usual this forum is dead in the water. Shame really as I like this site, but no one posts. The main difference with this site as opposed to others is that the other five sites I visited today all have an off topic.

I find I generally disagree with most Aussies I talk too about cricket,so I don't think I'm an average Aussie citizen!

Aussies are competitive and I have no problem with that - they tend to thrash the opposition badly with some solid Sledging - I've seen a bit in the press hammering the West Indies real badly.

I think Australians know their Cricket pretty well and I respect that!

A lot of Australian cricket supporters are 'yobbos' or 'bogans' (basically white trash - low class people). That's not me at all, I'm a 2nd generation Australian so perhaps I'm different. I think you'd like Australian people Zuhair.

Clapo was a very good poster!  Daisy seems to have given up on Cricket now that Lara is gone, that really took a toll on her.      Bondy and Samache were good too.  Kerm as well and TCA use to keep things alive.

Yeah,we need a few more, but it's certainly livening up from a little while ago when we only had about 5 or so regular posters as Dips was doing things(exams I think.) and Spin wasn't on very often.(That was just a little while before you came along I think!)

Yeah, traffic here isn't as high as it was when I joined!  Blame people like Dravid Fan who felt the need to go away.

You forgot me milks. But even I am not as regular as I used to be. The forum has indeed become a dull place. I've been here since 2006 and over the last five-six months I have always felt that this is not the CW of old.
