I dont really think it matters where bats are made tho, as long as they are made of English willow.  Some Indian bats are truely fantastic.

Yeah I saw a whole heap of them at Lilywhites near the Picadilly Circus station.  Sxi I think they were? Elite Pros grade, for 53 quid each.  They all had a sticker saying made in India.  But they felt nice actually.

Many will disagree but part of choosing a bat should manafacturer preference and such. Many people have bat maker's they feel most comfortable with.

Here's a thought. If you can go to a cricket shop shut your eyes and pick the one that feels the best in your hands. That way you won't be swayed by stickers and marketing ploys. You will know then that you are getting the best bat for you.

i would suggest a kookaburra kahuna, or beast (i.e. with the graphite reinforcement) but there are so many companies to choose from!

from gray nicolls i would look at the longbow

alos worth looking at newbery, gm, custom made bats etc

I have a Kookaburra Sword 5000. I didn't make use of it properly so it' not that useful for me anymore, plus its too small for me now. So wondering the best bat to buy for a number 6.batsman, who will improve over time.
Would a Gray Nicholas or a Kookaburra with thick edges be the best. Any suggestions.

Well, Snell, if those CA bats that that are for only 10 pounds are for playing tennis balls, then I might as well just buy a tennis ball bat from here.

lol never get the bat brands you kow bats for 300au lol you wanna be like a player they dont use a 300 dollar bat and it proably isnt even the bat that they use get a bat with 7-13 straight or straghtish grains and thats feels nice to you and thick edges as it will come off better even if you dont catch it in the middle

Charlie french bats can be checked out at www.cfbats.com  actually it seems they are hand made and not just mass produced.
