NZL beat SLN in SLN for the first time in 14 years, brilliant performance from the Kiwi bowlers, they do have a very impressive bunch of young quicks, Southee has been exceptional lately and this lad Trent Boult is mighty impressive!!! Very very happy for New Zealand, well done guyz!!!

Terrific turnaround by NZL in the 2nd test, they have an excelleny opportunity to win this on the final day, will be a BIG BIG win for the kiwis this!!! Their fast bowlers, esp Southee and Boult are very very promising.

Good to see Taylor and Williamson getting a big partnership here, NZL will need something special to level this series and these two are NZL's best batsmen to score on these wickets. Hoping NZL win this somehow!!!

NZ is a very small country and cricket wouldn't even be a top 3 sport in that country. NZ should have been part of the Australian federation!

People in India say that the rich continues to become richer and the poor continues to become poorer, same is the case with cricket these days, the higher ranked teams continue to win and the lower ranked teams continue to lose, as much as I'd like to see teams like NZL, BAN, ZIM, IRE do well and win games, it has to be said that at the moment they look hopeless.

The only team that has turn things around or at least looks to have turned things around is WI and that is such a good thing to happen in recent days.

NZL are not just bad, considering their recent performances they are TERRIBLE!!!

Well the Lankans made short work of the Black Caps in the 1st test , winning inside 3 days. Just 119 all out 2nd time around and continuing the side's downward spiral. I can't see them turning it around , they have serious problems.
Mental disintegration works for me !!

looking at NZL's performances this series I'd suggest they play more against BAN and ZIM, that'll help them.

You've got to say if there is one team that is definitely going to go down hill, it is Sri Lanka, they have consistently cut down on Test matches for LOI's and T20 leagues, now they have even requested CSA to cut down on the 3 tests they were supposed to play away from home so that they can get time for their SLPL T20 circus, earlier they had cut down on tests against ENG for IPL, against India for an ODI series and against WI also for IPL, they have also consistently scheduled their home series at a time when there is plenty of rain around in Sri Lanka, just because they are occupied with T20 leagues at other times.

During the next yar SLN play only 4 tests, 2 against BAN and 2 against ZIM, I won't be surprised if those two teams overtake SLN in next 5 years in the Test rankings chart.

Glad we'll be having some proper cricket finally after 2 months of T20 slog. Hoping the Kiwis put up a good show and win both test and ODI series, will be a hell of a difficult task though against the Lankans on their own turf.
